lol...you sound alot like me but I do buy games a little more frequent.:)
For example, I will be purchasing 6 new games through Christmas(Borderlands, DA:O, MW2, AC2, L4D2, UC2). But before Demon Souls a few weeks ago, I hadn't bought a game since Madden 10.
Depends if there are any games I want. The last game I bought was Red Faction all the way back in June. I'm going to get Borderlands on Tuesday and then MW2. That's about it for me.
Well I have 6 games and I've had my xbox for 2 years soo on average every 4 mths, but I'll go long periods of time not getting a new game and then get 2-3 close together. Like I hadn't bought a new game since nov 08 until ODST came out. Now I'm looking at getting forza 3, mw 2, and ac 2 all in 2 mths.
It all depends what is coming out. I could get nothing for months, or I could get three games in a week. I also may pick something up if there is a good deal on it.
Get brand new games or just get games? I will pick up cheap steam games a few times a month, but I hardly ever pay full price for a game. Maybe 2 times a year I buy a game for full price at launch.
