I have it for ps3 and i hate it (I love Oblivion BTW). The graphics suck (sorry no HD), The gameplay gets repetetive, and what is there to do. I look at my map and i see this thing with no map markers and nothing to do. I ran through the story and beat it. So i load it and find myself with nothing to do. Can soeone tell me how this game is so good and what is there to do?

for me, I loved to explore and see what all different kinds of creatures there are. I liked the weapons, enemies, the environment, etc. I'll admit the storyline was sprry, but the game is really fun, unless you play it CONSTANTLY. I put a good 50hrs into my first playthrough :D.

You do have a really good point but I personally found it to be one of the most fun games I have played in a while. True, if you play it CONSTANTLY, it can get very repetitive but I just like to play it through Good, Neutral, Evil and doing all the side quests again also. It doesn't seem as repetitive then. And the DLC can be good also.... even though if you buy all of it; it comes out around 4000 MS. :/

I'm 30 hours in and I have no inspiration to continue playing the game...it was good while it lasted though.

its mostly because you are a ps3 owner, the DLC is the best, and I am 60+ hours into the game, and for the map markers, you need to find the place before it shows up on the map, just take it like a map of the earth, if something hasnt been discovered yet, it wont be on a globe or atlas

what I reccomend doing is getting to level 20 and getting the "explorer" perk, it shows every place on the map

some agree that oblivion, like you,is the better game compared to fallout 3. i have played fallout 3 but do not own it. i found myself leaving "the vault" then after about an hour of walking through the ruins of washington d.c., weapons were scarce, enemies were too hard to defeat and i didn't get as far as the central business district as i either gave up on the game, or had to the return the console with the game to my local video store.

i own an x-box 360 now since may. i have no plans to go back to fallout 3. ihave beenreading in x-box 360 magazine that the downloadable content wasn't a favourite with fans of fallout 3.

its unique gameplay and how mature it is. things actually jump out of places. i also like being alone in the game not having to follow a specific plot but being able to choose whatever i want to do and kill anyone that gets in my way.

Waste of a perk. Just explore yourself.

yeah, take breaks and you'll like it more, after a while you'll start to hate it if you play for hours at a time

I really like this game and I followed it into the end I even get to the point to get MS to download the broken steel expansion, (first time I bought DLC) I loved to explore every building I could for loot and stuff that may be useful or could be sold at a high price, but I explored in parts, because it could become boring to explore all the time, and the game got pretty challenging by the time I started the main quest (I was around level 15)

Waste of a perk. Just explore yourself.

That or just use the wiki to determine where everything is. Instead, get GRS.

But on the subject of exploration, I thought it was the best facet of the game. There's plenty of sights to see around the Wasteland and the D.C. ruins. The atmosphere in the game is gritty and pretty amazing.
