What is with this darn game????

I went to the video rental store the other day and rented Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. I just rented it because it is surpose to have 120 achievements and I wanted the points. Well, when I got home and plopped the darn thing in........it sped up the drive and then locked up my 360. I tried it several different ways and even cleaned the damn disk 3 times. Am I the only one that this has happened to or is it a more common occurance? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

seriously.. never rent this game

all i hear is bad things from people that do. i rented it and it locked up my 360 and made a loud noise and then RROD the next time i turned iton

No, No, No......I don't think you guys are getting what I'm saying here!......I've rented more than one copy of the game...."Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" and they are all doing this......Has anyone heard of any sort of feed back from a save or patch that could be causing the game not to want to work????darkguyver82

I had a weird problem back on the old ps2, everytime I played Xmen Legends whenever I got to a certain it would freeze - everytime. That was a bought game.

I rent games often and haven't many problems. At blockbuster you cankeep them for a month for $12. (no late fees) Sousually you canbeat a game or get sick of it in that time.

Alot better than paying $70 and maybe get $25 in credit if you wanna sell it. The other problem I find is that sometimes you don't give much time to games that aren't great or don't immediately catch your eye. I can think of Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed as two recent examples. Decent games but slow and some flaws. ME fighting and AC finding missions.

Of course, that might be due to spending the last month playing Call of Duty4 with it's instant action and ADD blast blast.
