What is wrong with people?

Stop saying that MW2 has changed nothing in MP. And you know why you should stop? Because we don't know anything about the multi-player yet! People are complaing about the game before we even know anything about it! I'll admit that I'm dissipointed there's not going to be co-op but seriously, it's not IW's thing. They're not like Treyarch who capitalizes off of other peoples succes (a la everything in WaW). Everyone needs to shut up about MW2 until we know a couple of things about it.

One more thing, don't come in here and start talking about how Treyarch changed a bunch of stuff in WaW. because the truth is they didn't. All they did was add a half-as*ed Zombie mode and implemented co-op while stealing all of IW's succeses. The only reason I'm ranting about this is because I'm tired of people hailing Treyarch as an amazing developer and trashing IW. It's just annoying. As I'm sure averyone who reads this will say about this comment. Go ahead, I'll be ready.

I prefer IW as a dev. It's subjective as to which Dev is "better", though.

im not complaining at all i havnt even followed anything about MW2 but i would imagine that online MP is not going to be anything amazingly different from MW

Don't blame Treyarch for the greed of Activision. If Activision wasn't looking for a pay day every year then Treyarch wouldn't be making games between Infinity Ward's games.

Well I don't sexpect the online to be changed much and only thing I ask for is IW to at least make some changes to freshen things up. I love COD4 and WaW, but I'm about burnt out on the online and need something new to freshen it up for me. As for who is the better dev, I could careless. COD2 and COD4 were great as was COD3 and COD WaW. I myself am tired of WW2 and prefer modern combat guns over ww2 guns. Hopefully we get more details in the future that will blow me away.Brickz187

I think Treyarch has made some great games in the past and think they deserve to be working on the COD series. I mean come on they did spiderman 2 they dreamcast/N64 spiderman game, Or how about the first Tony Hawk game? Of the 22 games they have developed 11 have been million selling games. I think thats somebody that deserves to work on a franchise especially when 3 of those said 11 games were in that series.

I just praise Treyarch because it pisses off IW fanyboys....so TREYARCH FTW!! I'll play the game because it's fun, not because it's made by either IW or Treyarch. Hell, I could care a less if it were made by Disney. DPhunkT

For most people, like myself, we prefer IW because they make the quality games in the series, while Treyarch makes the games that end up full of glitches (WaW for the first couple months).

I did the BETA for WaW...I personally gave them feedback (as did a lot of other people) about the "under the map" glitches in the game. HOW did these glitches end up in the final game, when we told them about them during the BETA? Because they're a crappy dev, that's why.

IW has always been great to their community. I've gotten personal responses from FourZeroTwo via e-mail on several occasions.

Treyarch simply takes the good things that Infinity Ward create for the game, and piggyback off it.

The gameplay of COD 4 is what gave birth to this COD popularity. Yes, the series was big before COD 4. But MW made the COD series the online powerhouse that it is. Infinity Ward introduced the perk system, and kill streak powers.

All Treyarch did was take this new awesome system, and slapped it back on a WWII skin.

COD 4 is and always will be better than WaW. People only like WaW because they outplayed COD 4. Had the games had the same release date, nobody would have even looked at WaW.

I for one like WaW, I have a ton of fun with the zombie mode.But its just games.do you think the people at IW care if people already thrashing there game? No they just see it as a few people wont buy the game.And if your complaining bout treyarch using MWs multiplayer and engine and everything like that. well look at the gaming industry.Most games use someone elses ideas or engines to run the games. Thats how things work. i think stevie_dude has got it right, just play the game to play the game. It doesn`t even matterwho made the game what truly matters is how well its made and if a Dev does something off don`t start going off the handleabout it just be like meh whatever. Because at the end of the day its just a game and as a hardcore gamer i can tell you that it`s not thast important to freak out about it.
