I hated about 70% of the missions.
mostly anything that involved motorcycle chases, every mission just felt the same to me i saw no difference in objective
all of the missions werent very fun they were all generic. they mostly involve car chases, getting drugs, killing people.
it was kinda lame, you would think with all the features in the game they could of done something more interesting, or epic.
like a missions where you parachute off a plane into a camp or something and and then stealthy kill the people.
heck i could of made more creative missions. but it seemed all the missions were put together with quantity in mind not quality. I think they could of left off a lot of missions and people and the story would of been the same.
I completely agree with whoever said it was lame that you had to drive clear across the city for every ****ing mission. They should be more contained to specific parts of the city or even a specific neighbourhood. And all your friends are all over the goddamn city so you have to drive clear across the city to go pick them up too and then again to take them to the event and YET AGAIN to take them home.
But I didn't dislike that mission the topic starter mentioned, I loved it. When I got out I ran between cover to advance (it made me feel like a soldier) and then got to toss three grenades into a cluster of police cars and blow them all to hell before I calmly got into my car now that all the cops were dead. The best thing was that I was wearing the red-tie suit and the sunglasses. It was so badass.
Chasing that gay basher in the park who was harrasing Bernie, I think his name's bernie.
The only thing to hand at the time was a cruddy little scooter I was chasing the guy around for like 15 minutes :\
The mission I hate by far the most is the awful mission you do for Elizabeta called The Snow Storm. You have to steal drugs from some dealers in an old hospital. You have to battle the darkness cause it's so damn dark in the old hospital the mission takes place in. The flawed cover system is tough to use cause there are a lot of corners so your bouncing from wall to wall and it doesn't work good. And when you get the drugs you have to struggle with the maze your in and find the one exit in the building with like 30 rooms. An absolutely terrible mission and arguably my least favorite mission in any Grand Theft Auto game ever.MM87
Yea i hated this mission too. I had to retry this mission 10 times after like everytime getting busted by the police. I even posted a thread about how i hate this mission. That shows how fustrating i was. I also hated motorbike chases. Especially the 'no way in subway' mission. It was like so easy for me to bang something and fly about 50 yards away and when i get back:Mission failed. Spoiler alert: I hated driving under the tunnel as it was easy to bang the train and fly away. My favourite mission was 'three leaf clover'.
All the motorcycle chases!
I hate it when im chasing and speeding when suddenly at a junction,a car just drive pass and i hit it and fly 50 feet away from the motorcycle...once i get back on the bike
MISSION FAILED!

Here here, I am still struggling with the bikes...keep getting thrown and can't get to the bike fast enough. I may try the car route sometime.
As mentioned, the old hospital one sucked bigtime, but only need 2 tries. I remember being soo close to death just before I entered the car for a getaway...
Also, the motorcycle missions stunk. I'm travelling at a pretty safe speed, and I go over a simple orange [road] cone, and go flying off 20 feet in the sky. I hate the bike physics...
Ok, here's the deal. I had trouble with this as well, but I'm still playing the game I think I'm around 50% right now. I play nba2k alot now, anyway, I wish I had some way to record this so you guys could have seen it, but this was my most awesome mission. Oh yeah for the darkness - wait until the sun rises before you start the mission.
On the way to the hospital I did something to get the cops on me and I had done that before as well but the first time the cop killed me. Anyway when I got to the hospital the cops were on me. Lmao, instead of getting out of the car I drove around the back side of the hospital. The cops seeing the other bad guys started a shoot-out with them instead of me! LMAO. Around the back of the hospital was a ladder to the 2nd story. I went up the ladder and as soon as I got up the ladder a bad guy was there but his attention was on the men in blue! I pulled out the shotgun and promptly put one in his back. He fell to the 1st floor. Shot a couple of other guys, jumped down to the first floor and the first room on my left had the coke. So I shot both guys in that room and took the coke. All the while, the cops were cleaning up the other bad guys for me. LMAO
When exiting the hospital I might have used cover one time. I just ran st8 out the front door while the cops and bad guys were still fighting. I got shoot a couple of times, but I think it was by the cops and they had pistols so no worry. Once outside I ran back behind the hospital and jumped in my car, dipped through the parking running over a cop in the process and found a pay-n-spray and got the heat off me. AWESOME! I can't explain in words really how awesome this was it looked liked something str8 from the movies!
Maybe the one here you have to shoot down the helicopter. I suck at driving helicopters and had a hell of a time getting it lined up properly. Also any other mission involving a motorcycle, or a couple of the later missions that took 20 minutes or so just to attempt, so if you died you had to go through the whole thing over again
The last mission. There's only one "checkpoint" if you die during it, and whilst I don't want to spoil anything, a couple of cheaps deaths frustrated the **** out of me, like hitting a TINY bump on the ground at SLIGHTLY the wrong angle and you come flying off your bike. Anything involving a bike chase, not because it's necessarily too difficult to drive the bike, but it's so easy to come off it, like a tiny glance off a car and you're gone, and mission over.
The driving miles didn't bother me too much, by the time I opened the last island I got taxis everywhere. But I would have like more missions that didn't involve "drive there to shoot him". Or at least more variety, like in Vice or SA with the Secret Government area stealth bit, or the remote control planes. But they went with a more dark, realistic tone and I guess the missions had to follow that, for the most part.
I honestly don't like most of the missions - I just like driving around and doing the minigames.
The missions are too aggrivating for me - tryign to chase people is annoying with the crappy camera system.
I'm stuck on The Snow Storm mission now! Any tips? I can't seem to get past the cops, is there an endless supply of them or should I just wait it out inside until I kill them all?leilamayhemjust kill all the cops then grenade their cars and theyll stop coming until you start driving away.

I did it on my first try, I didn't think it was that hard. Another thing, if you do the mission during the day, it isn't dark at all.

Kill the cops to get to a vehicle, no need to kill them all. I just killed off the ones coming towards the building then ran to my ambulance and made an easy get away.

My least favorite were the ones where you couldn't kill people during a car chase, and you had to wait til they crashed in order to kill them. It seemed silly to chase them, shoot them a million times while driving, and then find out that they were invulnerable, as rockstar made you reach a certain point before they could die.
