Lilith. Phasewalk is the most useful ability in the game and her elemental damage is the best. If your near death going into phasewalk with the ability to regain health while in phasewalk is a real life saver, especially towards the end of the game.
I really liked all the classes. My favorite is Roland though (spent the most time leveling him up). I really hope they include armor in the next one so we can more easily differentiate characters with the same classes.Borderlands along with Gears are my favorite new IP's this generation (available on 360).

ye lilith is awesome.. easily beat other players as well with her. Extremely easy to dominate with Lilith because you can easily sneak up on enemies. you don't even need to really be sneaky. phase walk into the middle of a mob, start electrocuting them, exit phase walk and blast them all with acid. start unloading your double anarchy. Hard to get puts you back into phase walk after three kills. With DoT effects once in the middle of the mob you can go back into phase walk as soon as you exit it. with girl power your shields are regenerating from kills while you take damage. By now phoenix is kicking in hard and pretty soon the entire mob is gone and you're sitting there with full health and shields. good fun! It's nice to see lots of lilith love. Borderlands gets lots of play on my xbox!
Lilith for sure. I picked her my first time through because I've always had a thing for SMG's, and she's a nice character to boot. Roland is at a close second, cuz I like unloading large magazines.
