Halo 3 Special Edition and a Prenium in repairs.......it was either I got the H3 one so I could play Halo 3 or I waited for my old 360. I just have to sell my prenium now. I hope so much that my H3 360 isn't going to break because they said that it wont be replaced with another H3 one just an elite.
Don't even get me started about what kind of Xbox 360 I have. I had the same since launch, Nov. 2005. I broke my two weeks ago, crap because of Halo 3, so I fixed it by taking it all apart, warranty was in void a LONG time ago, and put more heatsinking paste under the CPU and GPU. Man, was that fun...

Who the hell said that it would be replaced with a premium? I just bought one as well and if this thing breaks, it better be at least an Elite. How can they replace something of less value?
I got mine used, I have no idea which it is. But I use wireless controllers and a 20gb HDD, if that helps :|OremLK
The HDD and wireless controller could've been bought later. But if your CD-tray is shiny I believe it's a Core. If it blends in with the rest of the 360, it's a Premium..
I have a premium. I got it for Christmas last year, it got infected with RROD, and Microsoft sent me a new one for free.:D I'm so glad I got the warranty.

Lol you're wrong.The premium's CD tray has a chrome finish (shiny and silver) and the core is just white.
I got the Elite Xbox traded my Premium in on Monday for it. So far very happy with it plus got 2 free games with it Blue Dragon and Forza 2 plus a extra controller.
I've got a core and I think I made a good choice cause I've never had a problem with it and mine's actually not as noisy as the elite they have on display at the Wal-Mart near me.
