I don't think there is a limit to levels.II-FBIsniper-IIIt's when you max out your skills, which I heard is lvl 40-50.
Sighs because he has PC version that can't run on his current-a-bit-off specs.ArisShadows
You should get it on 360... on a high-end PC, you can get better visuals out of it, but the controls are so much better for 360. I originally bought it for PC and then got the 360 version. I'd pay for the game a couple more times if I had to, it's that good.
for some reason my guy wont go over 24? i tried to improve random skills like mysticism but he wont grow any levels. whats wrong here?Only your major skills improve your level. Also, there is no level cap.

My highest level guy is level 26...speaking of Oblivion I was playing it several hours today to get my level up (when this day began I started off at level 24)...but speaking about something else other than levels even though my highest level guy is a Redguard, I got Vampirism and I had to go through the whole quest today to cure it. :roll:Flaming_Apemy redgaurd got vampirism too. i have a question for anyone who will answer. i already did the cure for vampirism quest for the count of skingrad but now some guy in the dark brotherhood gave me a new quest to find a cure and he says to go to the same guy as before but he wont tell me anything. what am i supposed to do?
is that game good i might by it if its okgotapresent4yaYes its awesome. On topic: im gonna start again. Because last time i was level 8 (started again) i was doing the cure vampire quest and i only had a little bit of health left and i couldn't sleep because i was trespasing (sp?) in the witches house and she was going to attack me so i went out side and it auto saved and i died from the sun as soon as i got out there ....and me being the dumbass only had an auto save file.
hey i need help...can i just speed up time or do i have to sleep to do that?butterob
If you press the "back" button you can wait.
I'm level 38... But not maxed yet... My guess is around 50 is max level. Just keep raising your max skills. Make sure the major skills you have make sense. In other words, you only really need one armor, and one weapon major skill... The rest should have to do with your character type.
Remember some things are easier to raise then others... Armor is one of the easiest, along with repairing... Just because you can do it on a constant basis. With armor, just find a really weak creature such as a rat and let it beat the crap out of you constantly while wearing a full set of a certain kind of armor... then walk away, heal, come back to the same rat, and do it again... Also, repair your armor and stuff. Obviously you don't want to kill the rat, so you can keep coming back to him and just getting hit. This will raise your armor and repairing pretty quickly, though it's kind of boring and repetitive.
Well it's cool you just got into Oblivion... Just don't get too stuck on believing you have to do one thing, or the other (like the story)... I've played it for about 120 hours... And I am only about 30 minutes into the story (all I did was go to Weynon Priory for the first actual mission... I still haven't talked to Martin)... This is because I like exploring and doing all sorts of other stuff... Some day i'll get into the story =P.
