Pretty sure it changes the games you see ( so if someone hosts and he is recreational, and you are rec then you will see the game). I think thats how it is for Gears atleast.

You dont know your own gamerzone? Well thats kinna sad. Anyways, mine is Underground. Im not afraid of trash-talk, Ill counter it with something worse.
I go Pro for some games for I have a good attitude for the most part. I go Underground when I play Halo 2, due to it being really funny to constantly cuss at some of the people because they get really pissed.
