For me, it was the storyline and plasmids. It brought a much needed boost to the first person shooter. Now would you kindly post?

I'm not a fan boy or anything but: it was the best ballance of atmosphere and action in any game I've ever played. It's a game where you play it for a half an hour, and realize that you're totally into the story line, and that the gameplay is incredibly fun; though kind of linnear

I thought the story was great and I like that the story takes place under the sea. (I thought Sebastian was going to be a mini boss)

I loved the whole biblical outlook of the game, no god yet there's "adam" and "eve". The underwater buildings were so awesome, who would think?

plasmids, story and atmosphere, there was way too much money and ammo that in the end did no damage to splicers

The atmosphere.Legendaryscmt

Couldn't have said it any better myself. The entire idea and setting. The underwater world, the demented inventors, the problems and the genius behind it. I loved Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, and Bioshock is a twist and advancement of that story; it's just something that has never been seen or matched in gaming.

I really loved the world/atmosphere of Rapture. I don't know why but the whole thing just captured my imagination. I loved finding new diary recordings and learning more about what had happened in the past and lead to the environment I was currently exploring. I kept thinking that I would be really interested if they did a novelization of the game because I wanted more detail.

The storyline and the unique skill system it offered. The graphics didn't hurt either :D The only thing that I didn't like was the same enemies over and over.

Honnestly, I really hated Bioshock. I mean, REALLY HATED it. I dont understand why I didnt like it either.. I love FPS and everything. Maybey cause of those damn annoying zombie-ish people? I played the Demo and wasnt impressed. Maybey i should buy it for the heck of it? I dont know..
