What makes you rage?

What makes you rage?....Ive never really had a controller throwing fit but i can safely say that getting spawned killed realy pisses me off alot in MW2:P

When my game freezes when I almost beat it.

Having to do the samething ten times with no other way of handling it.

Been playing Gears2 lately. So I rage when people quit constantly.

Level designs which make it so hard to continue in the game and you have to do the same sequence over and over and over again......!

I had that problem with the first Halo - start of the library level - it almost turned me off the game for good.....

Recently - it has been the timed mission and the sniper mission (at the end) in CoD4.....

I guess I just hate wasting so much time trying to get a little way through a game.....

one game in call of duty can go from sweet and good time to next wtf crap ass game.

One game you can be having fun and maybe get hit by noob tube once or so and have fun. then you move to the next game and you get hit by 20 noob tubes and sucks.

But what truely makes rage is people not what happens in the game

What makes me rage in a game are cheaters, campers (I mean the ones who always use a sniper and never move), cheap bosses that reappear more than once in a game, anything called Ninja Gaiden, Gears of War 2's shottie happy multiplayer and lag fests, and the new trend of over priced DLC that everyone buys despite the fact they know it is...yes, I am calling you out MW2.

Getting stuck on the terrain of Bad Company 2's environments and having to jump like a mad man to get out. :|

On single-player: having tried a level or boss 20 different times, getting within millimeters of finishing, and then getting destroyed. I also get pissed when developers make bosses "challenging" by having them do the same attack over and over and over again, like a spamming 7 year old learning to play a fighter.

On multiplayer: when I've clearly shot someone twice in the head and they keep walking, then one-shot me.

I NEVER rage

+2 on the campers, +1 on the bosses, -1 on the Gaiden, +1 on the GoW2, +274,367.12 on the terrible DLC that is ridiculously overpriced. Anybody who payed for that crap for MW2 is a fool and a tool.

When games have "who the heck is shooting at me?!" syndrome and when I do find out who's shooting at me, I'm already dead.

Cheap deaths make me rage.

Like when you've cunningly despatched 5 or so opponents in Mw2 as your sneak around, hugging cover before moving on, always checking your back, and then seeing someone across a room, taking aim, and then BOOM, the guy darts at you with superhuman speed and slashes you with his ninja knife strike. You're left there with a :| expression on your face, and as you watch the killcam and see what a pathetic cheap kill it was you think "RAGE" :evil:

when im playing left 4 dead 2 scavenge multiplayer and the timer has run out and i'm the only one with the gas can...i'm trying to fill up the tanks with the gas and give us more time and a huge swarm of zombies are attacking not letting me fill up and all my team has to do is SHOOT them for me since i cant drop the gas can or the round ends and they just sit around NOT HELPING, then i get pulled by a smoker or smashed by a charger and its game over..happens a lot for some reason i get so mad....teamwork people

MW 2's poor spawning, the hackers, cheaters, boosters, glitchesand general tools ruining online, being set up with poorer quality of players in lobbies, people who spend the whole match running around shooting windows and cars, idiots that think i would actually pay them microsoft points to do something i can do on my own and sending me annoying messages to advertise it. the list can go on and on and on and on..............................

I don't rage at games but what annoys me is people not working as a team in objective based modes online. They always want to play the lone-wolf and then they complain when we lose and you check the scoreboard to see them at the bottom >.>, hate those people.

Guitar Hero on Expert mode. I've played the **** out of that game and I can't anymore because my controllers stopped working... I don't know how many times between the PS2 versions and the 360 versions I've thrown my guitars after getting 95% through a song on expert to fail one one stupid part 50 times over and have to play the entire part of the song up to that point just to fail again. But what can I say, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to that game, I beat expert :)

When I die right before I get a killstreak I get a little mad sometimes.

Also, lack of Elder Scrolls V announcements make me rage.

lets count shall we? controllers= $20-$30 each-ill take minimum, thats $80

2 MW2 game discs= $120

and, just for kicks, lets say the Xbox broke, thats about $300 rounded.

total= $500!!!

Back to the forum topic, the thing that makes me rage is when i get into RDR mulitplayer, start playing a free roam with friends, start doing a hideout, having 1 more guy to kill, and then getting kicked and not being able to join. I want to go and strangle the comcast guy that set up my cable.

No it isn't. It's basically GTA 4 in the wild west. The missions play out the same damn way (do peoples' dirty work), the dialogue is very boring most of the time, half of the stranger quests are just a couple of cutscenes pretty much. Free roam isn't as awesome as they made it out to be (all there really is to do is gang hideouts and killing other players over and over again.) I admit that the ending was pretty good, but it sucks at the same time too in a way.

A game where the autosave is very unforgiving, you die and you think "oh it must have auto saved.." and it doesn't and you end up losing 30 minutes of progress

Not to mention they have the taxi system, waypoint system, John Marston jumps almost exactly like Niko, he's not necessarily a good or bad character, just like Niko. People said "this isn't GTA 4 in the Wild West," but I don't see how they can say that when there are so many things that are the same. They even have unlimited lawmen (cops) chase after you when you shoot innocents.

I got so pissed at a game of COD 4 once that I smashed my Xbox 360. Yup, you heard right. I had a major rage fit and I beat the pulp out of it. Good thing I had a good paying job so I could get a replacement. It did make me feel good however! Needless to say I haven't and won't be doing that again. Its too expensive a hobbie to smash the console. Lots of people beat up controllers however. Sometimes raging feels good, regardless of how stupid it looks or feels. Sometimes you just gotta destroy something, especially since I can't grab a hold of those little pukes that piss me off in multiplayer mathces.

If you "Rage" over a video game.......you've got issues. If you feel like your going to Raaaaaage over a video game, go take a walk Hulk. Theres a big world full of real things to Rage about.

Being on the verge of completing something difficult then dying makes me the most upset. i wouldn't say I "rage" because I haven't thrown a controller or anything like that before. :P

I quit Gears2 because of this.
