90%. MS has about a 10% failure rate on all 360s so you have a 90% chance of your box lasting you.

This is a terrible question. It cannot be answered properly. It all depends on how well you take care of it, what batch of consoles it's from, and when it was made. and what model it is. All those factors can sway your odds from maybe a 90% chance or better of a durable unit, to only a 15 or 20 percent chance that it will last you very long.

I think we are about a year away from being able to walk into any store and buy a 360 that you can have pretty good faith in that it will last a good long while, meaning a couple years atleast with proper care. By then the 65 nm process will be widely available in all models and in all inventory stocks, it will have had a few runs of production to get sorted out, and the rumored 45nm process will started or about to be started, so the temperature issues should be much farther along the way to being a dead issue, and other new components will see thier way into the systems.

What's up with these silly questions? We can't answer that question for you. Send it in to your local hospital for a checkup - hopefully you will receive it's results within 48hrs.

I had mine for over a years (I have a fan attached to it) and the only problem I had was a stuck disk tray. I spoke to someone over the phone about this and he told me the reason that happened is because I had my xbox in a vertical position. He even said that the xbox disk tray wasn't well designed enough to withstand virtical positioning.

How do you get the fan that you have attached, i have a PS3 at the moment, but before you boo, im considering getting an Xbox Super Elite, because loads of mates have xboxs etc you don't need the life story, i just want to make sure that my money is well spent and im not one of the unlucky few, take every precausion, can i buy it or is it homemade (if yes, send me instructions). A normal response, lacking critisism would be nice

As everyone else has said it depends on how you look after it, you should: Lay it on its side as it is the bottom of the console where most of the heat is diffused. Do not leave it on unnecisarily, such as when you are going out 'just for a short while'. Keep it in a well ventilated area, only on a TV stand if it is completely open. Do not leave cases or disks on top of console covering vents. That is some ways you can extend your consoles life..... hope it helps you out.
