They just recently announced COD6 coming out in 09. When do you think it should take place.
I personally would like to see a Call of Duty set in the future.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

right because the other CoD games were grounded in realism, add in the fictional future elements and you just lost all realism. :roll:
honestly, I don't care, never been a big CoD fan. Any setting besides WW2 though.
how about the war between russia and georgia with vladimir putin as a playable character oh yeah8)nickpasq13
owned... OMG im watching the colbert report and it just switched to a clip of two little monkeys doing it doggy style XD HAHAHAHA, sry for the off topic post, but this serioulsy happened mid post
fictitious cold war. i mean actual fighting compared the arms race.amscheip1
that is exactly what i was thining. a good early 80's war fps. could even jump around from character to character (wich they seem to do anyway) and have you playing as a US soldier, a freedom fighter (like Red Dawn but maybe not a bunch of high schoolers) and maybe a British secret agent for some more stealth orintated missions.
...
[QUOTE="Nellzorz"]isnt cod5 in vietnam?

Lets call it Cod6: Political Warfare.
nemesi609

I hate when games do this. They shouldn't randomly number games when there's no connection. Although many games do this. They should at least put Call of duty:5 World at war. Not create 6 and never give it the number 5.

It's not in eastern europe is it? I thought it was Iwo Jima. That would explain the Japanese.
Personally I don't like the idea of reliving wars through games, I find it sad. Alot of people died in that war and alot of people watched their friends die, and I think it should be kept to rest for the sake of those who lived those wars in real life and focus on fictional things that could be real but not based on a real war, like COD4, that had an amazing campaign.
So I find the Idea of a COD: Vietnam game stupid, since the americans got their asses kicked from them anyway, and the fact it was very brutal.
But that's just my opinion.

Modern or future.
Historical shooter have no appeal for me anymore - there have been far too many all covering the same things fighting the same groups of enemies
