I'm going to start with HL2 then play episodes 1 and 2. I'm more of a campaign man than online multi-player so I'll probably play a few games of Portal and Team Fortress in-between.
I don't think the Orange Box is getting the attention it deserves. This is an awesome package of great games and a true contender for game of the year. Problem is, most people will probably be too busy playing Halo 3 to notice.
Team Fortress Looks fun.Rasjr20
Well, it ALL looks fun, and Team Fortress looks like a blast, but I'm going with Half Life. To be honest, I never finished the game. I put it off because I was going to get the Xbox version instead, and then saw there was no multiplayer and said that sucks, then found out there was a 360 version coming and waited for that. It's been killing me... because the first few hours of play already makes it one of the best FPS games of all time hands-down.

I never finished it either I had it on PC.
I never played Half Life 2, so I'd start with that.Bubble_Man
suprising a lot of people havent played Half Life 2. biggest surprise in gaming for me in a long time
i never got around to buy ep 1 when they have it on sale for 5, 8 bucks and i dont want to pay twenty. i decided to wait for orange box since i dont want to have to buy ep 1 twice, so that will be first.
however, how well will half life itself transfer over to the 360? i might replay it but i heard it was crummy on the xbox

I think HL2 will transfer fine. It suffered from slowdown and dumbed downed textures, but thats because they had to do that to accomodate the Xbox' hardawre limitations. I heard that the resolution and graphics will be better than they were on pc, and I expect if thats true, then the framerate will be better as well.
