meh. Fable 2 is all I need. I don't really like RPGs like fallout 3 because of all the constant stat monitoring.
When I stabbed a sword through the back of a guy and watched him scream as he looked at it coming out of his stumic. I was in love

You are missing out. If you thought starting off as a kid in Fable was awesome, Fallout raises the bar in the aspect as well. You start off with your head coming out of the mother's "you know what"! :P

yea its a more serious and mature RPG, whereas Fable is a more laid back, comedy, "dont take it seriously" type of RPG. But you gotta love the freedom in Fallout.
I know theres more freedom in Fable 2 than in 1, but theres still paths, walls, etc that you cant cross, and the world in still pretty small and linear, whereas Fallout... Well its Washington DC!
Fallout 3.
Fable 2 is no better than the first, jobs are boring....meh. It's basically a kid sized version of an RPG. Weak, weak weak.
I sold it to get Fallout actually.
I was in love with Fable 2 a week ago. I thought it was one very epic and masterful RPG.... Until Fallout 3 released and wiped the floor with Fable 2.
Fable 2 is still amazing, its just that Fallout 3 is lightyears ahead, its that good

What he said
Fable 2 is great but fallout 3 is MUCH MUCH better
Aww. I wish I had the money for Fallout 3. I have Fable 2 and I really want Fallout 3....And Gears of War 2....Grr. I wish I had money...
But yeah. It sounds like Fallout 3 is much better than Fable 2. I wouldn't know from experience though...
Apples - Oranges.
Fallout 3 is one of those hyper serious games that provides you imaginary freedom, that people who loved oblivion drool all over, and the rest of us fall asleep during. It's a good game, if you like that whole "RPG-lite" thing, that is actually an open world action/adventure with mild aspects. Fallout 3 is your typical "mainstream gamer pleaser", created entirely to make people nerdgasm. I have not enjoyed it thus far, despite receiving an advance copy.
Fable 2 is more about comedy, it has more rpg aspects, you can do quite a bit in it, like purchasing stores and marking prices up, because you are evil. It's not serious, the main storyline is short but amusing, it doesn't take itself seriously, and it's intended to be a game, not a nerdgasm.
I greatly prefer fable 2, but, I simply don't have 20 hours a day to invest in fallout 3, to apparently "get the most out of it". I also hated oblivion.

nice one calling it a nerdgasm! absolute gump! there is no need to critisise peoples opinions, all you had to say was "i prefer fable!"

And just because there is alot of content in Fallout doesnt mean you have to play 20 hours a day. Comparing Fallout to Fable is like comparing Stephan King to Walt Disney.

Yeah I didn't like Oblivion either, however I'm loving Fallout 3 so far. Also do you like it when games are very short or something??? You are trying to say something negative about Fallout 3, but instead you point out a major reason why the game is so great. At least that is true with every other gamer but yourself.
