What Shall You Call It? Modern Warfare 2 or Cod6

So they've got rid of the Call of Duty from Modern Warfare 2. But it's still Cod6 to me and I'll still call it that :P

MW2 as they dropped the Call of Duty part.

I'll be calling it Cod6, I really don't care what it's actually called.

It shall be called Modern Warfare 2, Treyarch kinda sucked up the Call of Duty Title............

MW2 Infinity Ward wasn't too happy with Treyarch, I can't remember why exactly but they wanted to differentiate themselves from Treyarch or didn't like Treyarch taking an easy ride after the awesomeness of COD4, removing COD from the title is an excellent way. They have a new franchise now.

What are you going to call CoD 6 when Treyarch releases it...providing they call it CoD 6 of course.

I'll call it whatever the hell I feel like calling it at the time. Most people should know what I'm talking about, either way.

And yea, there'll be the inevitable pedant who has to cry out that I'm not calling itthe right name, but they can kiss my donkey.

I think this game will exceed any other CoD game ever made. No this game deserves a new name. Modern Warfare completely fullfills the spot of this game.

what im waiting for is for them to actually release the next numbered cod game so that we can put this to rest but i still dont see why people are gonna call it cod 6 when there are like a billion cod games out there if we wanted to count the games that way it would be more like cod10.

Well the game is officially Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, it's on the box. So base your judgements off of that. Like I said in another thread, it could be called "Big Bird's Birthday Bash: Modern Warfare 2" and if it was the game they've been showing, I'd still buy itCNUrGames

Its called that on the regular edition of the game. On the other editions it just says Modern Warfare 2 lol.Haziqonfire

I refer to it as MW2, but my friends all call it COD6.

I call it Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It's still a COD game, but you can't call it COD6 because... Well it would just feel stupid. :P
