What should i buy now

Reciently my 360 died from the dreaded RROD, and about to just give up on the 360 all together as i had so many died before. Now i am thinking of a new PS3, as i notice PS3 has the same games the 360 has that i want to get. Apart from the 360 exclusive Alan Wake which i most defently want, but it comes on PC anyways and who know PS3 may get it as it done with Bioshock and that was a 360 exclusive.

Anyways just yesterday i noticed at EB Games they have a special on Nintendo Wii's, trade in 8 games and get the Wii for $99.98 and i thought that's a really good deal. As i have money on my EB Games card still and could use that towards it and wouldn't have to pay a dime ( well maybe for a game or two ).

Now my question is this, which gaminig system should i get or should i get both. I am really into shooters, first person or third and RPG's or anything that is fun to play as it doesn't matter as long as it keeps me entertained. Also is the Wii mainly for kids and if your an adult does it get boring after a while, well i kind of thought having two systems would be kind of cool though, one for shooters and one for mild family fun. Also are they alot of single player games for the Wii, or mostly for more than one person to play.

I do not have any kids of my own but neices who come to visit time to time, so would i still get alot of enjoyment out of the wii. Also for the ones that have PS3's or Wii's, do you know any good review websites that has good info on PS3's as same with the Wii's like if you need a memory card or it it comes with a built in hard drive. Also i heard about this new jasper 360 model going around, but don't really hear much info on it though if it's any good and if the RROD is totally fixed or still has problems with that issue.

From the way you described your taste in games,you're going to want a PS3 over a Wii. I will however recommend using your old 360 games to take advatage of this deal and get a Wii as well since it has a lot of great looking games coming up,it's just that the PS3 is the better platform as far as shooters and RPGs. The Wii is,like you said, more of a system for "mild family fun". That doesn't necessarily mean that it's a kiddy system,but that it has plenty of games that any type of gamer can enjoy. As for multiplayer on the Wii,I actually feel that that's one of the points that it excels at.

In short:If you're sick of the 360 go with the PS3 first, but don't pass up the Wii if you're interested in both.
