I have some money to spend and I'm interested in pre-ordering a game. However, I am stuck between 2. I have already pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 but I need something to get me through till then. I'm stuck between pre-ordering Guitar Hero 5 or Halo 3: ODST Collector's Pack Gamestop Exclusive blah, blah, blah. So I'm going to leave it up to you guys. Only problem is that if I were to pre-order Halo 3: ODST I would have to wait about a month for it to come out. In the mean time I wont really have anything to do on my 360.
if i was you id say pick up the new batman game but that will only get you so far. if you had halo there is XBL to play but if you have to wait a month COD will be out and theres no point but then again you will have 2 solid games!

Isn't the gamestop exclusive like they give you a controller? I say pre-order GH5 unless you want all the maps for Halo 3 and that way you can get GH Van Halen for free and if you wanted just buy ODST later
I'm not a big GH fan. So, if I was you.. I'd pre-order Halo. But, on the other hand.. you say you don't have anything to do on your Xbox till then? Either play the games you currently have, or buy some older games really cheap. The 360 has a pretty huge library now with a lot of good games.

I had to sell all mine. but I'm not going to anymore. not having too many games sucks. ATM, I only have 3 GAMES! well, like 5 XBLA games lol.

How about, enjoy the games you have? Wow, I just seen you on a couple of threads and you haven't made not one positive post. I also think you snitched to the Mods on one of them. Why are you going from thread to thread providing negaitive or irrelevant feedback? Did you have a bad day? If you read with understanding, the last sentence in his post said.. "In the mean time I wont really have anything to do on my 360." But back to the TC, I would get GH:5. That way in the next few months it will give you some variety in gameplay instead of having two new shooters.

How about, enjoy the games you have? At the moment I only have Halo 3 and the arcade game Battlefield 1943. I recently just started playing 360 again so I do not have very many games. Oh and yes, I sold most of my games before I started playing WoW again...*sigh* bad choice.
Where is this Halo free controller thing because I could use another controller but I'm not finding that deal. I'd probably go ODST. As much as I really want to Pre-order Guitar Hero 5 to get Van Halen for free, I can't bring myself to buy another Guitar Hero game... I really want to, but just can't do it.

Yes, It does I had GH4 just the guitar one. Beat it but this one seems longer. Im still at the question whether or not I want to buy another Guitar Hero.

I had guitar hero 3, didn't get 4 and didn't get World Tour. I don't own Rock Band so I have no instruments. I'd like to get GH5 just so I have another guitar and what not and can get back into it because I really loved the first one and liked when they started adding features to it. Plus getting a game that's going to be 40-60 dollars for free just seems like too good of an offer. I don't know... I'm really torn on this now.
Id say Halo: ODST... dont worry about not having anything to do on your 360, just look through your game selection and tryy to find one you havent beaten yet and work on it... thats usually what I do when pre-ordering a game.
IF you need something to do on your 360 until ODST (roughly 3 or 4 weeks) when you pre-order Halo or whatever, pick up some MS points and get some of the summer of arcade stuff. Splosion Man and Shadow Complex to be exact. That should tie up some of your time.
