A lot of my favourite fictional characters/movies/comics have been done, and more often than not failed horribly.
Movies to games tie-ins fail, except Riddick. Comic to games are usually only released because of a movie = Fail.
I hope hopes for the new Batman game as its not tied in with a movie release.
This is a rough idea, one that I got from watching movies like Gladiator, Braveheart, and Alexander. In a number of c|assical and medieval battles, military commanders were in the thick of the combat. They were receiving sitreps and issuing orders literally as they killed enemy soldiers around them. So, I was thinking, put that in a game. It'd be like an action-RPG meets Total War. Not exactly sure how this would work, but I think it sounds neat. Strategy fans would likely despise the action elements, and shooter/RPG fans would hate the wargaming part, so I'm sure it would be a dismal flop.
There's my idea. :)
someone in OT had a great idea for a batman game. where its like the old tv show, with adam west voicing batman, and having a comic book feel with those "BAM" "ZAP!" "CRACK!" thingys. anyway, i thought it sounded like an awesome idea.

There was an Xbox1 game, VIII, I think it was called that had the POW, BAM, ZAP, thing going on. It was an FPS I think. Wasn't a bad game If I recall correctly.
I would like a good vampire game

Three cheers for that. I would love an immersive VG that I could, wait for it... SINK MY TEETH INTO!!. I remember playing the D&D style dice game Masquarade years ago and that had better story telling and immersion than any computer game in that genre that I have ever played. Or maybe it was the shrooms...mmmm....
The bourne series. I know they have but they screwed it up. Imagne if bethesda made a free roaming game where you play as bourne and are being hunted NOT BY THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT! You could steal any car, shoot international agents, walk into any store or house and use any object to kill, counter or otherwise mutilate your opponent. I swear if I ever learn C programing this is the first game I will make.
As a fan of both Fatal Frame and Ghost Hunters, I'd like to see a game that combines the two to become a really creepy ghost hunting simulator. You are called in to investigate a haunted location for a night and try to catch evidence of the paranormal while trying to debunk previous claims. The ghost hunting aspect obviously involves taking pictures, recording audio (it would be incredible if they utilized voice input for this, where you try to provoke spirits), video etc, but the twist is that the ghosts wouldn't be scripted encounters like in survival horror games, but AI entities that wander and decide on their own when to scare you, so there's this constant tension as you're wondering whether the hallway you're walking down is as safe as it was when you traversed it five minutes ago. Then there could be an RPG aspect where you choose to follow the technological or spiritual methods of hunting ghosts, and as you play you unlock better equipment or more heightened senses.
And what would be REALLY sick is if there was a multiplayer mode where you have one team of ghost hunters, then another team of ghosts trying to scare the ghost hunters while avoiding being caught on audio or video! Now that would be tense!

It was an awesome game! You could pick up almost any object and use it as a weapon (including chairs and shards of glass), and the comic style gameplay was revolutionary. I want another XIII game!take ninja gaiden and turn it into star wars...imagine ninja gaiden with a light saber...
also i saw a post a long time ago about a game based off of "I am legend" where the game is all about survival...during the day you can go around finding stuff to survive or do whatever you like, and then at night its either time to hide, set up camp and defend, or go out guns blazing...during the day you also have the option to go into dark areas to get great extras, but beware of the baddies
