nope. just bragging rights and the things you have to do on games to get them can act as incentive to play more and complete these tasks. Sort of adds replay value if you can get into the whole achievement thing.
There is also this Rewards program...so it's changing from just bragging rights to actually getting something back for spending all those hours..
