What the deal with COD?

When i see someone face to face around the conner i always lose, like i dont even have time to shoot and on the kill cam it didnt even show that i fire at all, even though i shoot first. So is this lag or what, any tips?

I really don't think this is an issue with the game rather your lack of skills with the gameor your connection.

Its the problem with B quality devs who are incompetent at producing a stable game. The sad thing is I don't expect treyarch to fix any of their matchmaking mess. It looks like their priority is to keep making $15 map packs.

Yeah, mv2 is way smoother, do they really have dedicated sever and bl ops doesnt?

yeah it happens all the time, its the dog s*** connection. theres nothing you can do about it, if you get into a game where your connecton is lower than 3 bars, just back out, but even then 3 bars still sucks, sometimes 4 bars does. thats whats annoying about COD because you never know where you are with the connection, anything could be anything.

That would be the lag. Black Ops is really famous for it's lag, and it's one of the main reasons I haven't bought it yet. There's nothing you can do to fix it, you're at the developer's mercy.

yup that must be BO cause if it was MW2 he would have died before turning the corner and in the kill cam he just stood they loolking stupid. COD on the whole is very horrible when lag is present. i think that MW2 had the worse lag but thats depends on where you are and how good your connection is. as im outside of USA MW2 was downright lagville, BO is much better. Sadly once a game isnt on a dedicated server then corner showdowns are a battle of the faster connection to the host and if the person you meet is host then tuff luck.

I know what you mean, that said and borrowing from someone else's test I'd say your best bet is to use the Commando if you can.

Same thing happens to me ALL THE TIME. MW2 is far superior. It especially make me mad that you can pull up a HUGE M60 and kill me faster than I can pull up a Mac10 with Slight of Hand! I call BS!

This is why I use a sniper from a mile away :P It helps keep my distance while pickin up kills
