Although Ninja Gaiden 1 was hard, it was a con for the game, not many choose it because of how hard it got and frustrating I'm expecting somthing more easier this time around, but who knows?

Well I think that the difficulty was great. I love a great challenge in a game. NG2 will be easier as it will have a mode that will be easier, but I am sure that there will be a mode that will be as hard as the first one. I can't wait.

IDK about others but for me ninja gaiden, halo 3 on legendary, gears on insane, and CoD4 on vet were just a fun challenge. I think for a game to be the hardest it has to be near impossible which none of those were. Maybe it's just because it's fresh in my mind but the solo missions on rainbow six vegas 2 were extremely hard at some points on realistic.

Here's a tip for you all, its not Halo 3 or Gears of War. Noth of which are very easily soloes on their highest difficulties.

It's either Vampire Rain, because it's stupidly unfair, CoD 2 on Vet because of it's consistently high difficulty throughout, or Guitar Hero 3 on Expert.

Noone in their right minds could think Halo is harder than CoD2 on veteran, that's completely insane. I finished Legendary in an afternoon by myself, whereas i'm still struggling through 3/4's the way through CoD2.

The best thing about Ninja Gaiden was it's difficulty, and the best thing about it's difficulty was how fair it was. If the game kicked your behind, it was your own fault because they actually bothered to make the controls responsive and smooth enough to cope with such a high difficulty.

Ninja Gaiden black added 'Ninja Dog' mode which was slightly easier, but to be honest, even though im not good enough to see the game through to the end, to have a developer have the balls to say "No sorry, if your not good enough, your not getting through the game" was very refreshing to me.

Yeah Ninja Gaiden used to be hard, like for the first three levels.......once you beat Dynamo on the blimp, you should be fine. By then you should be used to the controls.

If arcade games count, then Ikaruga and N+ are the toughest I've played on XBox, although N+ doesn't start to get hard until late. I'm not too good at FPS so CoD4 veteran and Mile High Club were a struggle, but they were doable and other than one controller toss they didn't make me want to smash things like N+ did and weren't out of reach for all but the very best players like a few of the achievements Ikaruga has.

Oh, edit for Robotron 2084 -- that's another one. I haven't played it on 360 but have played it plenty of times throughout my life. I did look at the achievements list once for that game and saw the one about getting 100 waves and thought "you gotta be kidding me."

Currently either DMC4 on DMD mode (which is actually nothing compared to the originaly DMC3 on DMD,not the special edition though) or actually Vampire Rain (I HATE THIS RETARDED GAME!!!!!)

But yea,in the future,Most Probably Ninja Gaiden 2 on its hardest difficulty...i remember the first game made me cry when i tried it at the hardest difficulty!!

Cod2 on Vet. Cant even beat 5 minutes into it. Lol

or GRAW1 on Hard...I stink at that game.
