What the heck is wrong with my halo 3

symtoms: Everytime I put halo 3 in my xbox 360 after 20 minutes of play The xbox makes funny sound like somthing is broken.

I tried deleting a few modded maps but It still continued

This only happens when halo 3 is in the xbox 360

please I need an soulution on what the problem is and ill get right on it.

Uberman: Is your Halo 3 copy new? If so, try and exchange it.....if not, check the disc for damages and attempt to repair them if they are there.......if the disc is fine, try other games....if they do it as well then you know its your console........if other games don't do it then unfortunatley your going to have to buy another disc

But seriously if you kept the receipt just switch it out for a new one;)

Well there's three things that it might be.

1.the disk is scratched up and needs to be replaced,i think you can get one from Microsoft by its disk recovery program for FREE.

2.your 360 might soon die!All you can do is pray to god that's not it.

3.Or option number three, your modded up maps are making the disk run to fast which means your disk is scathing and means you got to get rid of all the modded up maps.

If that does not work then your on your own buddy.
