Okay, so I'm playing gears of war, right, and now all of a sudden, the controller won't stay on. When I can turn it back on again, it keeps assuring me that the battery level is fine. But even then, just doing any little thing it keeps turning back off... and now it sometimes won't even finish turning back on before powering right off. Like I'll see some of the lights turn off, then immediately fade off.

What the **** is wrong with this thing?

And **** gamespot's auto-censor.

I don't know what to say. Yes gamespot's censoring is way to strict :D

But OT: Change the batteries.

The batteries ARE brand new. And they still have plenty of battery life left when it was working.

Check to see if the battery pack fits in the controller tight, 1 of mine kind of fits lose so then you could lose the connection for a second or so and it seems to shut off.

Yea, my extra controller does that too, i have no idea what the hell is wrong with it. It's only a problem for me when i have friends over and it dies out ever once in awhile.

It's got to be the batteris. Try a different brand like Duracell. On the screen it will show that there is some battery power left, but most of the time your controller will be flashing, which means the battery power is almost dead.
