Well I'll be very surprised if the update comes out today... who knows, is a possibility (maybe in the night)... but i think it's coming in the next few days.
Ok smart @$$ on xbox.com they said the update will come out the week of may 7th, That doesn't mean its coming out today that just means any day this week.
Is text messaging REALLY that exciting of a feature? I look forward to allowing the 360 to shut off when it's done downloading a movie, but really that's not the kind of thing that has me excited... I don't understand why everyone is so thrilled about this update. It's just a bunch of boring incremental patches, at least to me.

stop your crying. Microsoft said the week OF may 7th. Not that it would be out today. That means it could come out anytime this week.
they should say we'll release it May 11 day and if it should come out earlier great but... at least we know whens the deadline.... but this stupid guessing crap is nasty.
 Well, it's 3 p.m. where I live right now, and my 360 isn't updated .. well then again .. I do just have it running in my room .. I'll be right back .. lol.

If you actually think about it a bit it would make sence to come on May 8th since Halo2 Vista is launching then and in turn with that is Games for Windows (Xbox live for Windows). It also makes sence to make the Xbox Live update the same day as the Vista one.

On the xbox forums there saying May 8th 3am pacific.Â
Youd think a site as big as GS would have the CORRECT info for us so people like u guys would have to create 3 page threads wondering all your lives :?
