I am currently playing Assassins Creed and really digging it...I can already tell what people mean with regards to repetitive but im still really enjoying it. A lot of people complain about the battle system but i think it works perfectly for this game....im only 3 hours in so far but its really fun.
Just picked up Mass Effect....havent played it yet but it seems like your best choice because the games somewhat lengthy and all the reviews say there's tons of replay value.
So I have a $50 gift card to spend at Toysrus, do I buy Assassins Creed or Mass Effect? Please give a reason why if you can, thanks.Jimithing60089
yeah i was wondering the same thing, i just got paid and i want them both, but one will have to wait. personally i think i might get assassin's creed first because the title speaks for itself, and i watched some awsome gameplay
I'm in the same situation. I'm already buying CoD4, NBA 2K8, and Mario Galaxy for Christmas so my budget is tight. I was thinking of going with Mass Effect because I really enjoyed the KOTOR series and would like something similar.
I'm leaning towards assassins creed becaue i did not like the kotor game that much and I really really enjoy games like god of war and prince of persia. I have been playing Mario Galaxy and it is unbelievable but I really miss high def graphics.
I only haveassassins creedand i really like it, i mean really really like it, one of the best games ever, well honestly idk, why dont you watch the reviews of both, and see wich one u think ud have a better time with
I own both and they are both great games but i would give mass effect a 9.5 and assassins creed an 8.5 or 9.0.
Overall i think mass effect is the slightly better game because of its AMAZING characters (some of the best ever) and the great story (not to mention good graphics and really fun gameplay and sound production)
well i got both, and at the moment i think AC is a better choice, its just so unique, the fighting system is so damn awsome, the gameplay itself is just amazing, running on rooftops and climbing HUGE buildiongs are just fun as hell, and the story is amazing, the missions do get kinda repititive but the story really sucks u in and makes up for it.. u wont wanna put this game down, its a must have for any gamer that enjoys these types of games
on the other hand, im still really early on in ME... its really impressive also but its just not that original... and maybe im not into it that much cuz i dont really like sci fi stuff that much, the graphics are amazing but i expected much more from gameplay, though the story is also awsome and its amazing the different planets and all, its a fun game but pausing in between combat to send ur team somewhere or chose another wepon really kinda ''ruins'' the action, its still very fun and i think deserved at least a 9 but AC just impressed me more, maybe after i beat ME ill change my mind, lets see
either way u will get a great game, doesnt matter if u go with ME or AC.... i think it really depends on what ur interested more, on one hand u got sword fights, stealth action, running on rooftops, climbing buildings, assassinating targets,ur in 1191 in jerusalem (wich i always thought would be an awsome place to play in a game) and at the same time in 2012 thats just crazy lol, and on the other hand u gotta sci fi rpg shooter in wich u travel the galaxy from planet to planet in a war with aliens... completley different styles, choose wich one u enjoy more...
