Camera angles. Only a few handful of games ever managed to pull it off successfully. Everyone hates the old school Resident Evils but their camera were perfect to me. You didn't have to worry about controling it and it was very cinematic. RE4 had a very good camera system along with Gears of War for that matter. FPS games obviously have the best camera angles but not every game can be first person. But developers are starting to realize I think that if you place the camera behind the back of a person and zoom in when you need to shoot its perfect.

Camera angles are a real problem in many games, not just RPGs. I think it's tough for developers to get the engine just right for the camera and there are so many things they have to take into account. I know this is a 360 board, but the angles in God of War are about the best I have seen.

That list is pretty slim. How about games with great stories but repetitive/bad gameplay(Assassins Creed/Mass Effect)

I want a game where you are part of a whole... Like the COD games... those games are awesome because you are always in a group fighting... I am getting tired of always being the last person left in the fight... I want a game that is just a war and you are a small soldier in the thick of it...

Woah great post! COD4 is so much better than any game. When your alone against a huge group it is unrealistic...like Halo 3....who sends one guy to another planet or distant land with only like 8 troops or none. Fake. If the Earth was under attack, every last person in the military would be somewhere fighting or doing something to contribute. Maybe not even soldiers and just ppl. I mean its the end of the world im not gonna watch TV and hope we dont all die. Imma get out and get some! YEAH!!!! GET SOME!!!! YEAH!!! lol

Split-Screen mode feature for FPSesoff and online more. I hate how most games nowadays don't have that feature. How are you suppose to play with other family members or friends that come overwith online people?

COD4 is basically COD2 with better online play, you should give respect where its due. I hate people all on the COD4 bandwagon.

WHo would send one guy? I would send Master Chief anywhere to do some arse kickin by himself lol...ya i kno what you mean its more realistic when you are fighting with a group of guys and not taking on the whole world by yourself.

I would also like longer and more thought out campaigns. A lot of times, it seems to me, the more time and hard work was put into online play and the campaign was just kinda thrown together without much thought. A game needs great campaign too not just online play.

Why is the last choice even there,To some people Halo 3 was a "horrible" sequel to others it was very enjoyable. You know how hard it is to mantain a blanced sequel? You have to do something innovative yet make it feal the same as thegames before it,and Halo 3 did just that,I give Bungie props because thats not easy to do.

Well my choice has to be the acctual area's in games,I feal like if you land the enviroment right it nails it,Like if games were acctualy based on real citys and looked like them just like they would in real life then thats awesome.

Yeah, I am getting fed up of the "humanity's last hope" storyline. I can understand why they use it, it works, but it just seems so generic a lot of the time.

I think there needs to be a guide line that all games must follow to be able to be released to the market. Too many games come out now days that are just a quick cash in like movie based games or the new Sonic on 360/PS3.

I wish they would have more of a in-depth combat (for some RPG's) and in all games some more freedom and less repitition.

None of the above. I have never played a game where the camera bothered me. I haven't played GH or played with the Wii Zapper. I don't play handheld games. I don't mind being "the last hope". I haven't played any really bad sequals.

I only wish that some of the great game ideas I've seen posted on these forums would become real games.

How about games where every single enemy knows where you are no matter what you do. Behind their backs, hiding behind a wall, a mile away, under the grass or whatever. I'm not asking for games to be all stealthy but it seems more logical and that we don't need cheap AI but more realistic in a way. Even simple cartoons follow that logic.

more environment interaction(especially in multiplayer shooters)... there are some games that have stepped forward on this and I'd like to see much more. I want to see every single object in the game to destruct according to their real life counterparts, or I want to be able to dig a hole in the ground by just shooting at it constantly, etc. In a game such as Assassins Creed, I want to see each person have a purpose for walking around... I want to be able to follow a single person around and see that he has a life and just not a person who walks around aimlessly. It would probably be a waste of CPU power, but it'd be awesome.

This probably wouldn't be realized until the next few generations of consoles.

It sounds like either you are very picky about what you play and havn't played alot of games especially lower budget indie titles that get bad review scores. Or your expectations are so low that no game has faults.
