Hey, I only have one game for the 360 (college hoops), and I've only played sports games. I'm looking for a good single-player game, but I don't want it to be too obscene or violent for younger children. Preferably in the E-Teen rating area. I only have 1 controller so that doesn't really make a difference in multiplayer, but I do have XBOX Live. Also my rental place doesn't have Oblivion, and I don't want the younger kids seeing Gears of War.
if u like car games get carbon, but it is short, like a 8hr game but live is amazing. a lot of poeple play the game during the nights also. say away from test drive unlimited, its crap. COD3 is amazing for sp or mp.
Lost Planet or Call of Duty 2 for a shooter Project Gotham Racing 3 for racing and you can turn off the blood and cursing in Gears...but i guess that still leaves the violence...just tell your kids it takes place in doughnut world where when the bad guys get shot, strawberry jelly shoots out to help stop world hunger lol :P

odd i didnt take it seriously either......but anyway you should get Viva Pinata its fine for kids and im not embarassed to say it goddamn addictive to adults

Does that make it clearer for you? i wouldnt reccomend anyone to rent Gears i would either say buy it or stay away but if you READ what i wrote i clearly stated a game that is generated towards kids but fun for adults to play...i have a kid i think i understand
Not to be rude, but don't we have enough "what should I get" threads on here for people BUYING games? I mean, to rent a game is only a couple of bucks. Do you really need to solicit advice on that small of a money expenditure?
