What is your favourite type of game. Is It football games like PES and Fifa. Or maybe shooting games like Medal of Honour. Maybe car games like PGR, Forza and Need For Speed. It could be sword games like Assasins creed and Prince of Persia. These are only some of the great types of games. What do you like best?

not for me, RPG's and Adventure games are by far my favourite even though i play FPS', action games, horror games

for me games arent about replicating real life but providing experiences our world cannot provide

the best games i have played whisk me off to a far away fantasy worlds that lets me do my own thing giving me freesom within the context of the game

i.e my favourite games ever are Shenmue, Zelda OOT, Deux Ex, KOTOR, FFVII

I can't limit myself to one favorite game, since I tend to jump from one genre to another. I do realize that I have a tendency to stay away from simulator games (Gran Turismo, Forza, PGR series) but enjoy a more arcade-y experience.

FPS: CoD4, Bioshock

RPG: Blue Dragon, Oblivion, Mass Effect

Adventure: Tomb Raider: Legend/Anniversary

Racing: Burnout series

There are more but I can't remember off the top of my head.

I like almost all types of games, except JRPG's and turn-based games. But the ones I seem to go back to the most are sports games (mainly NHL), sandbox games and rhythm games

RPGs and adventures are may favourite, as they often are epic and you really feel part of the game and part of something. I love having a sense of freedom and my actions having consequences

I am a diverse type of gamer. Sports, RPG, FPS, and adventure games. I usually look for games that are ranked 8.5 or better. It is a matter of personal choice and interest. I investigate a game before I invest in it because I want the most for the buck.

Hmm, my favorite genre...I would have to say it comes in phases for me. When I want something quick and fun, I play an arcade type racer like Burnout Revenge, fighter like smash bros, or music like Guitar Hero. When I want something a little bit more indepth, give me an FPS like Halo or CoD. But if I really want to dig in I go for action/adventure RPG's like Zelda or Mass Effect(favorite 360 game thus far!). The only thing I don't usually enjoy are sports games, they just bore me to tears. They are nearly the same every year. Might like to try some sports games on the Wii though, the motion controller might make it worth it.
