what video games would you like to see turned into a movie?

Yep, what the titles says:) lol. I think it would be cool to see a rainbow six vegas movie, at least for me. Oh! and a new mortal kombat, with all the latest technology in movie making it would look awesome. Your ideas?

i would love to see a metal gear solid movie as well as a kotor movie, but there are tons of games that could be movies

Just because MOST game/movie adaptations are poor, doens't mean they have to be. There are a few, granted not many, that I have actually enjoyed including "Chronicles of Riddick" and most of the "Star Wars" and "Aliens" related stuff. The upcoming game based on "Lost" also looks pretty good. I'd also have to admitt that I actually enjoyed the "Silent Hill" movie, and thought that they did a decent job of making the sound effects, creatures and themes tie to the game very well.

I agree with you in general though, more often than not, the game/movie tie-ins aren't exactly stellar.

might like to see prey (though i only played the demo, seemed cool) or half life. but really, do we need any more? isn't it time hollywood came out with something original? seems all there's been lately is sequals/prequals, book/comic/game adaptations, and remakes of other movies.

Mass effect, Assassins Creed, and KOTOR series

So far all the Video games movies suck BUT, that is because the people making them suck too. If they can get Speilbergand or Lucas and or Jackson to direct and produce you could end up with a kick *** movie. Personally Halo not Halo 3 mind you but just Halo, Now that would be a sick movie if they got someone doing it.

Games are getting so cinematic these days, a film version is unnecessary - especially with the amount of CG that goes into them. It's like taking the "choose" out of "choose your own adventure."
