My guess is it was supposed to unlock the Halo3 beta in the game but it didn't work?Â
All I know is that at 1:00 a.m I got the crackdown update and it wouldn't let me update??? then when it finally went through I checked the options and Halo3 beta link and it was still greyed out. ???Â

If you go to Downloads then to Marketplace, you'll notice they took out some downloadable content from the list. There were 17 items or so to select from before, now there's 8 items to select from. They seperated the old from new arrivals.
I got two Crackdown updates in the last 24 hours. I booted it up yesterday early evening to do some racing and got an update. I also got one this morning.
I thought maybe they had released a fix for people's save files getting reset.
I dont know but this is really annoying that they messed up like this. Hopefully they extend the time of the BETA to make up for wasted time because they messed up. Anyways dont forget to download AgeisWings i think its called. Its free today so check it out.Â
damn that sucks, my 360 broke on me yesterday, wont be gettting it a replacement till friday. but man i hope we're not getting screwed on this halo 3 beta/crackdown thing. on my friends list i see alot of people playing crackdown and only 2-3 playing the beta.
They're having problems with the beta being downloaded with Crackdown and so they're fixing it. Hope they fix it today though because for a loooooong time they've been saying today was the release.
