I'm talking about a game that isn't unplayable due to lag or the amount of glitches. I tried Splinter Cell Double Agent's multiplayer and it was laughable. You can either be a Spy or some security guard guy. To be a Spy you have no weapons except useless things like being able to blind someone with a flash grenade, heal yourself, throw a smoke grenade, a jammer, or a syringe for health. Most of them are completely useless besides the health syringe. The only way to kill someone as a Spy is to get behind them and break their neck which is very difficult as you have to be 100% accurate.

As the Security guard you get a gun with unlimited ammo and three grenades that are basically nukes. You can also use a little plane that you can use to find Spy's and then self-destruct them but good luck as they will just fall down and it takes three seconds to blow up while you just sit there as an easy target. If you can actually get a kill with that thing you're very lucky or he is completely oblivious. The GREAT thing about the security guard is you can't jump through windows even if it's two feet off the ground. Spy's are almost impossible to find unless they are trying to take the files or they are very close to you as well.

It's so incredibly dull being the Security guard as the Spy's will obviously try to find a good place to hide and run away if you start shooting. So it's basically just sitting around doing nothing except shooting every once in a while. It was by far the dullest multiplayer game I have ever played and don't even get me started on how bad the melee is for the Security guard.

By the way it has to be an Xbox 360 game.

I agree with that one. On the 360 it would have to have been double agent for me aswell. It was terrible.

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009.

If you start a match that has three or more people in (including yourself) then it's bound to lag big time. As in, a full second's worth of lag with each button. Very bad. In a normal singles match it's okay but not as exciting. Also, people bring their Created Finishers online (some of which are BRUTALLY overpowered) and well you get the idea.

Lost Planet, couldn't enjoy it at all. Double Agent was pretty bad, but mostly because it was such a huge letdown to me.(after the great multiplayer of Chaos Theory)

I wasnt crazy about the Far Cry 2 multiplayer.

There was nothing really wrong with it and it even had some great features like a map editor.

I think its just that I am truly....TRULY awful at that game :(

yea, I was also really really bad, but after a few more days of playing it, I finally started getting better. Once you start unlocking the better weapons they help out a bit

Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway. Even when there wasn't any lag the game was just bad. very unbalanced, dull, and just not worth playing overall.

I'm gonna go with Condemned 2. The multiplayer, although it had it's moments of hilarity, was simply awful.

Would have to be The Darkness for me. It wasn't jsut the inactivity but the style of MP gameplay didn't suit me.

Im surprised no one has mentioned Fable II, if you can call that multiplayer... what's the point of playing with someone on xbox live if you have to be in the same screen

Oh God yeah... I forgot all about Fable II. But for my pick I'm going to have to go with Turok... Yeah... Don't get that game... Lag central.

I'm actually going to go with NHL 10's online. I have only played the Be A Pro online portion but it is the most infuriating thing ever! My brother and I have been playing sports games since the Atari and we have always been very good at them. Well, with NHL 10, we always seem to come up on the short end of the stick. We take good shots, make smart passes, play solid defense, but still, the other team somehow manages to score goals where they don't even shoot the puck (they basically pass it) and yet it somehow slides perfectly underneath our goalie. Or we will score a goal, and in less than 20 seconds the other team scores a goal right back (this has happened NUMEROUS times! It actually happened 3 times in one game! No one would score for most of the period, then we finally score, and they score right away. Then nobody scores for another period, then when we finally score, they score right away...) and it's normally on a stupid shot that had no business going in. So yeah, NHL 10 gets my vote!

The movement takes some getting used to. Also, you need to build experience with each weapon as well as unlocking them. So, when starting out in multiplayer it can be difficult and frustrating, but afterwards the gameplay is a hell of a lot better. Unfortunately there are a many people who play it for a bit and say that it's sucks straight away as it isn't as smooth as jumping into a COD4 game.
