I would want an ice cream maker, a homework-doer, a money-maker, a NASA rocket, and games for free.
Why would you ever ask this question. First of all, the 360 will last another 2 years and they will not announce anything for a while. I don't know where you expected this thread to go, because most of the things customers want are similar. You'll get something higher powered, etc. Is that not obvious?
Yeah i don't see anything new for the upcoming E3, but a hand held would be really nice. Since the psp did really well (in sales) maybe Microsoft could come out with a hand held.............that actually has good games.
It don't see an 8th generation of systems coming out anytime soon. Typically, the industry upgrades itself about every 5 years, but with the power of our current machines, the Xbox360 and PS3 will last longer than the usually 5 year stint. Perhaps we won't see a new generation of consoles until 2012 or so. But definately not within 4 years.
The next Xbox, I hope you can still keep your gamertag and score and carry that over to the next system. It'd be cool if 20 years from now, when you're playing Xbox9000, you still have your scores from the original xbox360 titles. Imagine playing Dead Rising 6, and you still having your achievements from Dead Rising 1 still available to view.
