What will happen if u play copyd games on xbox 360 live?

I want to copy my games ... So that i don't get scratches on my original games.

Would it effect my online play?

I wouldn't pay $60 for a game then decide just to play a backup. It's like paying for the license to play...

If you have the option, go for the $3 (CAD) Disc Insurance and do whatever you want to the disc. Even if the damage is your fault, one year later, they'll replace it for free.

if that is even true, he wont be for long. Any mods will be found out in a relitively quick fasion, not saying you can get a good month or three, but then your 360 is a singleplayer only machine.

The Banhammer of Justice will swing down upon you, obliterating your hopes and dreams of playing "backup" copies of games, and for that matter any other game, on XBL.

I have a sneaking suspicion that a similar Banhammer is swinging your way on Gamespot too, because discussing this stuff in the forums is against the ToS.
