What will happen to all my stuff on the HD when i get the Elite? will i have to rebuy all that stuff because i have spent over 100 bucks on marcketplace
first isn't some transfer cable coming with the elite so you can move your stuff? and secondly dont get the elite, unless you absolutely need the memory.
From what I've read the Marketplace remembers what users have downlaoded so you should be able to go back to the XBL Marketplace and re-download them all for free.
The cable supposedly only comes when you buy the HDD upgrade. Chances are he would trade in his 360 when getting the Elite anyways.

There is no cable coming with it since they don't think anyone is dumb enough to buy the elite if they already have a 360.

But yeah, he's right, lol. They're only putting the transfer cable with the standalone drive. You're going to have to make a call to India to make that happen.

You can recover that data using your gamertag and still use it, but only when connected to Live. so if your internet is down, or xbox live is down, or in a room without a connection, you are screwed. Thank MS for that.

Theres a big thread over at xbox.com/forums about it with people complaining. Hopefully microsoft does something soon with this issue.Â
