Ignorant statement. People care about TV show characters when they die, and book characters, and movie characters. Why should this be excluded from video games, plenty of people care if Master Chief dies.

If you watch the "belive in a hero" commercial bungie made, it shows the little display thing the old man was looking at in the "museum" commercial, and it showsa whole war goin on, and at the end it shows master cheifs boddybeging held up by a brute (i think, i never got into halo much) and then it zooms into master cheifs hand and it shows hes holding a grenade that starts to glow, i think this might signify that he dies / kills himself to win the war.HELL_RAzOR
