i'm notfund of multiplayer but if Elder Scrolls could put a multiplayer feature i hope each players' characters could be customized by a bunch of armors and weapons to give chance to players to show their personality with their character
about single player...:
1. Improve the inteligence of the party system
a. the archer in your party should not shoot his arrows at your behind... he must shoot the enemy
b. the adoring fan should not run around like crazy when an enemy shows up
c. the lady mage should not take off her robe and fight enemies wearing only bekini
d. the guy mage should learn how to heal not just shooting lightning
2. CAPE!!! - a knight is incomplete without his cape
A return of the Great Houses, particularly the three in Morrwind.
And more lively cities. I loved that people were on a lifelike schedule in Oblivion, but I'd like to weld that to the more liquid, if not particularly interactive, population from Assassin's Creed. Think best of both worlds when picturing it.
i just wish for a better enemy A.I., killing a person in a empty house and then having guards rush in from all directions should be fixed to.
mainly just better stealth aspects.
1. Better combat system. I'm tired of hitting my allies
2. Better costumes/armor
3. Ability to fight from horseback
4. Dragons
5. Ability to ride on the backs of dragons
6. Ability to fight from the backs of dragons
7. Minimum of 12 voice actors
8. Two weapon fighting
9. More NPS: and kids
10. Marriage
11. Ability to obtain nobility(besides SI)
12. Interaction with the gods
13. Ability to combat a god and become one
14. Once a god or saint have the ability to create and manage your city
Did I ask for too much?
Um, a lighter and lots of gasoline?
Maybe a more combo drivin (ie. more interesting) combat system?
A dragon orother epic creature of awesomeness to fight. I wanted to fight Dagon, not go all pokemon on him (dragon thing I choose you!).
A point based leveling system without leveled environments. Seriously is that goblin hitting me as hard as that one was from the sewer at the start of the game? hmm, progress
Awesome(er) armor and weapon sets. Let us do crazy stuff like duel wielding-shields!
Mounted combat! If I have to get off my horse AND draw my sword while getting whacked on one more time I swear imma scream.
Target locking! This isn't a FPS, the frame rate wasn't amazing, don't make me have to manually target crap with my tiny fireball please?
Can I get some classic fantasy driven side quests? Like save the blond hottie in the tower from the menacing ugly thing? If I have to go and pick flowers for your stupid little potion just so I can see in the bloody dark I might as well go play "Hello Kitty Island Adventures".
Flying mounts anyone?
Epic steam driven dwarven (oh wait put dwarves in the game!) tech. Fortresses in the sides of mountains with gaint cannon things dwarven battle tanks!
Waring nations!
Romantic plots!
The tools to make a female character that doesn't look like she got beat about the head and neck with an ugly brick. Not for me, for the developers.
"Scroll of: Town Portal"!
Better/more indepth trade skills. Alchemey and enchanting don't make a whole lot of sense when your a nordic barbarian. Oh look, I made a spell! ....
Make money mean more, don't know how you can do it and arn't the only game that has this problem. But not even 25% into the game money should be a non-issue. Give us something substantial to do with it (pimp my horse?).
Less skeletons please, those things were everywhere in IV.
Bigger enemies, like those storm guys but make them appear more frequently and make em even bigger. Oh oh I know, hill giants!

who's gonna pay for it! lol
good list tho I'd like it in the next game:D
The thing I hated the most I guess was the crappy spell looks. I mean when I level up my spells like lightning, I want them to change. not only in strenght, but also the looks.

6.maybe in some part of the main quest but it would hurt the gameplay to much to do it in freeplay
7.eh, the voices took up half of oblivion without 12 voice actors
8.well it might be cool for a third style of fighting, like blade blunt and twohanded

And better downloadable content! horse armor made no sense! killerfist
oblivions dlc is probally the best on xbox live,. yeah the horse ones a miss, but the rest is really good. more games should take notice of they expansion packs. as for games that add new stuff its always extra multiplayer maps, they dont bother me but more games should offer extra single player missions/levels as i think thats what people want from dlc when they are buying it and hardly any games offer it.

do you mean you marry someone? cause that is a disastrous ideaMake the conversations more like the ones in Mass Effect would have be a good idea imo.
Also I think it would be cool to be able to actually craft your own armor (make it physically look how you want).
Another thing is the sneak system could use a little tweaking.
Just a better story that really draws you in emotionally.
The only other thing I can think of is to make sure the technical issues are fixed before release.
Here are my points:
Mostly inspired by games I've played + upcoming games :)
1)The ES5 team needs to somehow input Assassin's Creed and other action games' fast-paced combat + ability to interact with people + more gore :)
I find it annoying that Elder scrolls doesn't have combos/counters or the speed that action games do [just combat]. It gets into me that there's only so many things you can do with a weapon. I wish there's a way to sling your daedric katana across the room and impaling a guard or something of that sort; or instead of just having control to block the shield, why not be able to do shield slam, or something like that [again attached to combos/free movement].
For the other point, it would be nice to have more gore since its a lot more fun [evil smile].
2) I would LOVE if Elder Scrolls give us a chance to forge/sew/craft our own armor; and I MEAN costumizing it.
Perhaps there are various templates you can learn over mastering the armorsmithing tree. Then you can also get 1337 templates by learning templates through Asuran quests (from the gods). Then again, you have to mine/collect materials from places; then once preparation is made, go to a forge/working table to make it [would be nice if there's an entire animation to it; say dumping the ore into a forge, hammering it; or if its leather, tanning it, then stiching it, etc]. Horse armor may be possible too?
3) Pet [inspired by too many games + Fable 2 in the making]
I can write a paper about this one so to keep it short, it would be nice to be able to tame a "beast" or "animal" or "something else" to be our pet. It has its health bar, mana, stamina [whatever it is] and has its own behavior.
It would be great to have a change from the current summoning ordeal. It's quite annoying when your toon uses almost all mana to summon some daedra spider :\
4) Destructible environment + Physics
Now I know this is not Crysis but wouldn't it be a treat to be able to burn a whole damn house down with a fireball; given that there's enough flammable contents in it like dry wood, clothing, cooking oil, etc. Also being able to chop a small tree down and blocking the way for incoming bandits, etc. Now I know how bad things can get or exploitable the fireball thing is since there's usually so much vegetation outside in Elder Scrolls [self explanatory].
Moving from the destructibe environment, our weapons/armor should be visibly dented/scratched upon further use in accordance with the condition scale [x/100%]. Arrows penetrating the body should stay there and cause the person/thing to react to it [pull it out; Far Cry2; or snap it] causing bleeding, etc. Then your toon needs to either go to a doctor or use the heal spell to close wound.
Actually I can go on, and on, and on, and on. I realise that the current technology may not allow for such a real life world to exist in-game whether its due to the limitations of storage [size of DVD or Bluray :\], processing power or whatever it is.
Its just that the Elder Scrolls series has been so much fun for me in PC :) I don't expect Bethesda to come up with anything less than an exceptional predecessor to ES4!
all but the whole mass effect thing, i dunno what you exactly mean but we would want the elder scrolls 5 fully origonalMake the conversations more like the ones in Mass Effect would have be a good idea imo.

I think that a better topic might be "What could improve Elder Scrolls III"?It is common knowledge that the third installment in the series is by far the best and that the fourth one tried to appeal to a larger medium by oversimplifying the gameplay. They should return the series to their previous state and on top of that add a more dramatic and epic main story ass well as some multiplayer interaction (not MMO modes or vesus but maybe some universal trading system for created content etc.)Further more the game could surely use some enviromental interaction (as seen in DMO Might and Magic) and more interesting NPCs.If something else comes to mind I'll post again.Fiothi strongly disagree, no leveled monsters, no fast traveling, horrible environment, at the beggining you cant even hit anyone! and graphics are worse. i have played both and morrowind was not as good. thier were some aspects that oblivion could use. and the fact that thier were no voices! smaller environment. a gaurd in every store! you can kill everyone legally with a little bit of work! they dont have schedules! you can walk into someones house and sleep when you want to sleep! they walk wierd! to many hills! you can hold attack and you would continue to fire arrows from a bow! i mean when you fight it is actually largely luck! i could go on!
but i would like multiplayer, does not have to be online. but like a online trading system and possibly arena would be awsome. environmental interactions would not hurt either, i think.
see in oblivion the game actually made the environment. it would never be the same after you leave the area. the game generates a new environment everytime you re-enter a area. i would like many environments in the new one. like desert in the south and mountains in the north, of course this will probably not happen as they base game on a individual part of cirodil.
You should be able to:
Use two weapons at once. eg. sword and axe
Fight on horseback
Become a leader of a city
and your allies should hit the enemy not hope there spell or arrow goes through you and then get the baddie
There should be a wider range of creatures
More types of weapons and armour
More people in cities
Bigger cities
BIG Wars
More Spells
Be able to forget spells because its annoying looking through lots of spells to find the one you want
Get a key ring because i have hundreds of keys in Oblivion and its annoying scrolling down to the very bottom
Thats just a couple of things
i'm notfund of multiplayer but if Elder Scrolls could put a multiplayer feature i hope each players' characters could be customized by a bunch of armors and weapons to give chance to players to show their personality with their character

The elder scrolls games were not meant to be action games. They are rpgs. Also, the nice thing about Morrowind was you could get away with killing someone. It shouldn't be where the guards have a 6th sense that tells them that you are killing someone inside a house outside of their view. Oblivion didn't randomly generate terrain. Also, Cyrodil is the capital, Tamriel is the world in the game. Fighting in the game was largely stat based. I absolutely hate leveled monsters because I want to feel as though my character improves in the game rather than getting killed by goblins at level 40. I liked the idea of a guard in every store because that caused you to think twice about robbing stores. Actually, there was a little voicework (only a few lines) in the game. Of course, the graphics were worse considering the improved power of the 360.
1. Better combat system. I'm tired of hitting my allies

[QUOTE="kylet6891"]Make it rated T so my parents will me get it :oops:grunt1096
The funny thing is it was T rated at first. I still have a copy of the game with a T rating.
So do I. I really don't see why they re-rated it...the modded content isn't available on the 360 version, and the most violent thing you see is the guy at the end of the Dark Brotherhood campaign (not gonna go into specifics due to spoliers). All of which are possible on the PC version through mods. If anyone has a good enough machine to run it, I would suggest buying Oblivion for PC. Even if you already own it on 360, the extra content makes it well worth the price of admission.Fighting on horses
Dragons

A return of the Great Houses, particularly the three in Morrwind.
And more lively cities. I loved that people were on a lifelike schedule in Oblivion, but I'd like to weld that to the more liquid, if not particularly interactive, population from Assassin's Creed. Think best of both worlds when picturing it.
Chemistian
That's exactly what i was thinking. The oblivion cities are perfect, besides that they feel...lifeless. When I played Assassins Creed I thought, "Wow, I wish Oblivion was as populated." Even if they wouldn't interact with you with quests, I would still enjoy it much more.
-Bigger cities
-More populated cities
-More voice actors
-Bring back the old elven voice actors
-Dual wielding (1 handed weapons)
-More weapons (beyond daedric, dwarven, glass)
-Fix the leveling system
-You don't have to be able to talk to everyone, especially since almost everyone in TES4 had nothing to say.
-Deeper factions (interweaving factions, longer, more challenging, better storyline, more factions)
-Combo system
-Morrowind enchanting/spell crafting system
-More lore
-Bring back legendary weapons/loot
-More armor and pauldrons/gauntlets
Also some ideas I've had:
I think the game should be in Elsewhyr (sp?) imagine TES in the deserts and jungles of the kajhiit homeland. There could be so many interesting enemies like giant scorpions, jackals and instead of rotting zombies, there would zombies who have been completely dried out by the desert sun. There could also be scimitars and cutlasses as well as all the weapons from previous Elder Scrolls games. This environment would actually be varied unlike TES4s...

but i would like multiplayer, does not have to be online. but like a online trading system and possibly arena would be awsome. environmental interactions would not hurt either, i think.
see in oblivion the game actually made the environment. it would never be the same after you leave the area. the game generates a new environment everytime you re-enter a area. i would like many environments in the new one. like desert in the south and mountains in the north, of course this will probably not happen as they base game on a individual part of cirodil.
All of those things suck. Morrowind is a much better game and that's a fact. Only a complete noob to the series would say otherwise.
IMO multiplayerZzZEVOLUTIONZzZ
I think so too, like 4 (or more) player co-op in the main story, that would be AWESOME.
[QUOTE="arab_prince"]Shorter/no load times. Only flaw in the game.Juggernaut140
