i was wondering what would work better a 100' ethernet cable or a wireless adapter. the wireless adapter i am thinking of getting is http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8386695&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat25300050006&id=1179876288345. Also is all ethernet cable the same or s some better than others.

Well if you are willing to pay for a wireless adapter thats the obvious choice but if u want to save some money go for the ethernet cable. Remember some ethernet cables are useless after 25 feet but i dont think u should have that problem.

i use a wireless adapter because i love not having a huge cord running throughout my house, but if you have other computers using the internet, the 360 will get a slightly better connection if direct connected

That is right. But still, you should stick to cable - unless you have a 'n' -mode wifi hub .... the good old 'g' mode is just not all that good when it comes to gaming (but it will work). P.S. The xbox wifi is not operating in the 'n' mode ... so if you will get a wifi 'n' hub then you should also get a 'n' mode enabled wifi transmitter that plugs into the ethernet input in the back of the box.

could someone pleasepost a url of a really really gooddurable,and reliableethernet cabel. i needit to be about 100'. also where can you purchasean ethernet connector(to connect lets say 2, 50' cables) if needed.

Im pretty sure that all the cables will be the same? I dunno. Ivenever heard of a particular brand or type being better.

You have to get a good cable though. We have a 100ft cable running all the way across the house And we get prerfect internet on this computer.

Most ethernet cables are the same man really you shouldent have any problems with it. Just go to your local best buy or something and ask someone.
