The Next gen Xbox will have a credit card slot built into the front of it. You will pay $600 (launch price) for the console, and all games will be downloadable. You will have to pay a dollar each time you turn the console on, then pay the introductory price (around $65-$70) for each game. After you pay the introductory price, each time you play the game you will be charged $2 (games will NOT be stored in the console's memory, but will be deleted and have to be re-downloaded for each play). If you want to play online, you will still pay $50 a year, but then 30 cents a minute for online play (on top of the $2 play charge, of course). The console will come with a 2 year warranty, but will be programmed to shut down after 2 years and 1 week, at which point you can pay $200 for "repairs", or just buy a new console. Also, to keep your gamertag you will be charged $5 a month.
Games will still not have dedicated servers, as to maintain them would be too expensive for M$.
