i would freak out also lol, having to go back and forth several times cause of a defective machine.

personaly blockbuster should test out the systems/games before buying them. otherwise things like that might happen XD

With the 360's track record I'd stay away from pre-owned altogether. The 360 is a great system but it seems you're guaranteed to have some defect. Between my 2 friends and myself, I got a RROD, one friend got an e74 and the other had a problem with the disc drive. I don't know what the failure rate of the 360 is but I bet you it's somewhere in the 75-80% range. Don't let it discourage you from getting one but make sure you got a solid warranty on it.

I wouldn't even mess with a pre-owned 360. Get your money back and buy an arcade somewhere else or a 60Gig.

There is no way I would accept a preowned in exchange for a new console. Go with a new arcade instead, and just buy the harddrive when you can afford it. Stay away from the preowned ones. They won't have much MS 3 year warranty left (if any) and Blockbuster won't want to know you if it breaks.

I would be fuming. Never buy a preowned 360. Isuggest getting your money back and buying another console elsewhere.

Please use the broken 360 thread. Thanks!
