what x-box to get

i am thinking about getting a 360 i can get a Premium with gears of war for 299(not used)or should i get a Elite that would cost around 500 something in here in Canada, thanks.

You don't have to pay for demos.

You'd probably only want an Elite over a Premium if you have a HDTV, or plan to download a lot of stuff. Or if you like the colour black.

Around how much memory do demos take up.

usually around 800Megabytes to 1 Gig

But you only get 13 usable gigs on the 20 gig harddrive, and with an HDTV I Really think you should get an elite, if you don't mid juggling your demos around get the premium.

BTW, where is the 300$ Premium?

the $300Premium with gears of waris at eb games but you havetotrade in any 10 games,i know thats a lot but i got a lot of games i never play. ohh and how much would the 120gig drive be and the trade in value for the 20 gig drive

Depends on your connection, for me it's 30 min to an hour. And you MUST get the premium if the price difference is as big as you said. Unless you have a killer tv then the HDMI port cna be useful. I don't think that anyone needs 12 gb unless they can't bring it to themself to delete demos. Also everything you downlaod that has a price can always be redownloaded for free on a later time. So even game expansions of games that you stopped playing can be temporaly deleted. But I've had the 20gb (which si actually 14gb) for a long time and never had less then 9gb. Ofcourse I delete demos after about a week (unless I really liek it, like the Overlord demo). For most people it's debatable what version they need to have, but you NEED the premium, elite is way overpriced where you live.

I would suggest going with the Premium. Its the standard, and you get Gears as well man..lucky. Pretty awsome deal if you ask me.
