i have bioshock, halo 3, assassins creed, mass effect, two worlds, oblivion, battlefield, and i have played cod4, gears of war and timeshift. so besides these, what would be a good single player game with the best story?
The godfather game is decent but you might want to try out JRPG such as Lost Odyssey. Oh and go backward comaptible and try out Jade Empire, Fable, KOTOR and KOTOR2.
I suggest you to buy the Xbox Original Indigo Prophecy game for only 1200MS points in the marketplace, it has a prettty good story except for the space kun-fu scenes, also The Orange Box, Half-Life has a really good story

the game with the best story was halo1 because the cut seens told you alot more than halo2 and didn't have a confusing ending and the flood gave you aloy more suspense on the 343 guilty spark mission. but the kotor games were good and if you like ww2 games check bia (brother in arms) 1 and 2 they had a really good ww2 story. and area 51 had a good story. So did the chronicles of riddick escape from butcher bay. By the way all these games are for the old xbox.

ugh i wasnt a fan of too human. bioshocks story was crazy i know he has it but i just beat it with the bad ending and it was awesome lol i felt like a monster though =[

lol i was thinking the same thing. i dont think anyones sugested this yet but i also have lost planet. its pretty fun the story is really cliched though. Amnesia!*gasp*
its pretty much a revenge story since a big bug killed your father, this games in the vein of Starship troopers lol. Plus you can get the new edition they released for about 29.99$ (USD) if im not mistaken
