condemned or fear... condemned is closer to what you are looking for
FEAR is the way to go. Condemned is a good scary game but I think FEAR does an overall better job and it's tough! Plus you can do multiplayer too online when you are done with the game.

I agree with both being that it is a very underrated game or is the most underrated game on/for Xbox360, and that is one of the scariest games of all time.
Condemned easily, best scary game I've ever played, crap jumping out everywhere, story is actually quite good, and it keeps you on edge, and it's psychologically scary alot of times, like the mannequins *shivers*, ya Condemned is THE game for you.
It's all relative to your mood. if you like to shoot and blow up people with guns and an evil one who you can't kill fear is good.but if you like to kill serial killers with pipes and fewer firearms condemned is better.

I think we should only post OTHER ideas now. Like this game I got near launch, you are a detective and you run around fighting criminals with weapons you find lying around... I can't remember the name of it though anybody know the game I'm talking about?
FEAR and Condemned, definitely. They both have the quick jolts of horror, plus the atmospheric, creepy stuff. Any minor complaints about either are trivial. They are both top-notch, and besides, the 360 doesn't have enough scary games yet, anyway. I can't believe the Silent Hill franchise has stayed so quiet for this long. Has there been any announcements for that? Some kind of Silent Hill game for this generation would be amazing.

Yeah, there were a bunch of moments all over the place where you suddenly had horrible visions, or one of several things would jump out at you, one being that girl, which was really creepy. Sometimes, something would get knocked over when nobody was there. Some of the time it was pure action, too. Other times, it was just creepy atmosphere. The whole supernatural/sci-fi aspect had a creepy feel to it. Less scary than Condemned, maybe, but great as a total package.Â
