my brother is 10 and has a 360 but all he plays is fifa and wwe and thats it he has over 15 games now all fifa and wwe games i have tried suggesting a few games like tomb raider gta 4 and a few others but they have all been too hard for him (the jumps were too hard in tomb raider and the ai have faster reaction times than he does in gta). whats a good game that has an easy difficulty setting but is still a fun game to play? id rather it be a disc game as the 360 doesnt have wifi and his room is far from the router so he cant have a wired connection

ignore just noticed you said he can't play online.

Viva pinata

Maybe a car driving game? Like burnout, try a burnout bu not paradise because that is very hard to race because you have to set your own route in the race, but burnout games like revenge just have a giant wall so you always know where to do.

FamiBox

Yes, but it's not a good game for them to be playing. =P

I saw a five-year old and a seven-year old (just estimating) with their mother who said, "Hey guys, look at the new Grand Theft Auto game! It looks good, I think you should get that!"

*facepalm*

Try Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.

As others have suggested, my eight your old loves the lego games, they are great fun. It's a shame he cant get on the Marketplace because some of the arcade games are gret for kids, my son loved the Maw and Castle Crashers. Macclesfield / Manchester Web Developer / Development - Matt Burton

You could recommend Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts to your brother - it might not be the same old Banjo-Kazooie thing, but it's still a pretty good platformer nonetheless. Mirror's Edge is a pretty fun game for anyone, it might be difficult for your brother at first but I think he could pull it off...I don't know if there is any coarse language in that game though. Street Fighter IV, Dynasty Warriors 6 and Kameo Elements of Power are all games with a fairly easy learning curve that your brother might enjoy. Also, while it is somewhat difficult on later levels, you and your brother might both have fun playing the crazy shooter Earth Defense Force 2017. There are also a ton of fun arcade games that your brother might have fun playing. Now I'm not condoning letting your brother play violent games, but when I was a kid I played Wolfenstein 3-D and enjoyed every minute of it, but it does deal with WWII stuff and Germany so perhaps that is one to avoid for now. Halo 3, while it is rated mature, actually isn't that violent or gruesome, so withadult supervisionyou could probablyplay some offline multiplayer matches with your brother.

There are tons of easy games on the 360, off the top of my head that are good. Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Halo 3, The Lego Games, Wolverine Origins, Mass Effect but he will get lost in it if he never played anything like it, Star Wars TFU, Spiderman Friend or Foe, Viva Pinata, Resident Evil 5, Batman AA is easy but he will probably get lost in it, Gears of War series.

I'll feel the same way with mine. Add some Duke Nukem series, Wolfenstein 3D, Baldurs Gate, Turok, Mario series and Cyberstorm and you have my list, almost all played before I was 10.

It all depends on the parenting the kid has had. When I was 10 stuff like Double Dragon and Battletoads was out. When I was around 14 I think Street Fighter II was coming out, and then Mortal Kombat. There weren't any violent games out like there are today.

I can't believe you suggested GTA IV to a 10 year old, but I guess thats just the way things are these days. If the kid has had bad parenting then a game GTAIV could just make him worse. If the kid has had good parenting then he should be able to realize the difference between a game and reality.

I would recommend any of the Lego games, Beautiful Katamari, and Viva Pinata, off the top of my head. And any racing games or sports games. The Force Unleashed was a good suggestion. Mostly sci-fi fantasy violence in that one.

Yeah, I mean I think we do rate games a little too strictly. I would see nothing wrong with a kid playing any of those games. I think a person should be able to use their judgement to tell when something crosses the line of good taste, and should not be played by a young person.

I'd say Doom is a good game for a 10-year-old, because I was about 10 when I first played Doom.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is the perfect game for kids that age. It's fun, simple, addictive, and it's about super heroes. Not to mention it doesn't have any blood/gore or crude language. Other than that I would suggest a racing game; maybe Forza 2 or Burnout Paradise.

Viva Pinata and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts are great fun no matter what your age is, but a 10 year old would definitely appreciate them more. Marvel Ultimate Alliance would be a good choice as well.
