I'd like to know any games I should start. I like different sorts of genres, like 3 that come from the top of my head are, shooter, RPG, and sports. (Sports games aren't all that good..) Dead Space, ACIII, and Far Cry sound cool. People have been talking a whole lot about them. You can suggest any game. I like a lot of games out there.

Saints Row started out as a GTA clone but quickly established it's self as a unique, fun, and strange series in it's own right.

Red Dead Redemption may fill your billing. It is a shooter in the style of GTA set to a western theme. Strong storyline, played as a 3rd person shooter that lasts around 30 hours on the first play through, conservatively. The multiplayer aspect isn't very good, though. Fair warning, the M for mature rating is very accurate. Available on Amazon for around $25 new.

Definitely the Halo series, minus Halo Wars (Unless you are a fan of strategy games)

Elder Scrolls Series: Oblivion, Skyrim and future releases. All fantastic RPGs.

If you're looking for a challenge, Dark Souls is a great RPG, but be careful, a lot of the game may make you break a controller or two.

Sports games, FIFA and NHL are always big hits in the multiplayer and single player game modes. Also, a decent story oriented sports game would be the latest FIFA Street. It was fun while it lasted. My personal favorite would have to be EA's Skate 1, 2, and 3. Much better and realistic than the Tony Hawk series and has much better story modes.

Grand Theft Auto Series, With Grand Theft Auto V coming out in the near future, as well as Red Dead. Rockstar is great with story mode.

If you like law enforcement, like playing as a cop, L.A. Noire is decent, has a pretty long story mode, and is now with the $20 games at Walmart.

Gears of War series, 1, 2 and 3 with a new one on the way.

Splinter Cell. New one to be released in the near future, is going to be an awesome game and will be a very good co-op game if you have a friend that likes those games as well.

Last but not least, Call of Duty series. All very good campaigns.

Just a few suggestions!

Get Iron Brigade formally known as Trenched. Its a downloadable xblive game, it has a fun little campaign. 3rd person mech shooter which you defend areas with the assistance of towers and stuff. I hope for a sequel on this game or a full and bigger scale type game release.

I still haven't tried the dlc for it but that reminds me....

Assassin's Creed is good. The first game is love-hate, Revelations is disappointing, but rest are great. Far Cry 3 is the only Far Cry on 360 that is good to play. Mass Effect series is great also (except for the ending in ME3). Don't even bother with Fable 3 for your own mental health sake. Fable 2 isn't bad. I'd suggest not getting Orange Box on 360 (any Valve game for that matter). Red Dead Redemption is a must, but GTA4 is not as good. Episodes from Liberty City is prime, however. LA Noire.... stay away from that crap. The Witcher 2 is beyond amazing. Bayonetta (the sequel is Wii U exclusive, however) is the best action game this gen Batman Arkham series is also great Vanquish is a must for any shooter fan (no multiplayer however)

Dark Souls is one of my favorite games EVER (if you don't mind dying a million times)...and Dark Souls 2 is in the works. I only redboxed it but Far Cry 3 is reaaaally fun. I also had a lot of fun with Hitman Absolution.

Thanks everyone. I think I will go out soon and buy Assassins Creed and Gears of War. Of course I will try the others, but I'd try those since I've heard lots about them.

Saints Row. Funny, engaging, and a whole lot of fun.
