When he's in his nice big room smoking his never ending cigarette in the dark what's the planet or star behind him?

I also noticed that when i kept the collector base alive the thing was red and blue at the end, but when i blew it up it was all blue in the end?

I had almost all paragon points both times so i'm guessing it has to do with whether you're good or bad, any ideas??? just curious

Not sure exactly where it is, but I'm absolutely positive it's a star. I'd love to know where it is, but I doubt they'll release that info.

It's the Reaper home-world, he says it at the end of Mass Effect 3, before you go there. Remember?

You mean Mass Effect 2? Otherwise, great observation.

Cool, I didn't notice him saying that, but it's really good to know that. Also, I hope the decesion at the end of the game has a considerable effect in the 3rd installmen.

How can it be the Reapoer homeworld when they come from outside the galaxy?

If you remember ME1's end, the background changes too. If you're paragon, it shows a blue planet with a space station orbiting it, but if you're renegade there's a molten red planet with blue blotches across it.

Same thing in ME2, except it's a star/sun. Paragon=blue, Renegade=red. It seems to be a reflection of the icons.

Im pretty sure its a star. And as for it being red if you save the collector base and being blue if you destroy it is supposed to reflect on whether the decision was paragon or renegade. Blue being the paragon decision and red being the renegade decision.

Like others have said, it's a dying star. Probably on the outskirts of space so he's not located.

Good call! thanks

It's cool how it changes color depending on your decisions, do you think it's of any importance? or just something cool, also while were talking about the illusive man anyone have any guesses on what's up with his eyes?

You're talking about Mass Effect 2, right? The only indicator I got were the words "paragon points."

It probably reflects if your decision was a good one and how it may affect ME3.

As for the Illusive Man's eyes I am guessing those are cybernetics

Also, if you import a character from ME1, the color will change depending on Paragon or Renegade.
