What do you like better?

Personally, I mostly only play multiplayer. I don't care about achievements, and multiplayer is the most fun to me. :)

Opinions?

I like when a game has a good mix of both, so when I finish single player story, there is still life in the game

May I ask why? Would the screaming 5 year olds while playing multiplayer have something to do with it? If so, I can see your argument.

Most games are always about Single-player. Also I like a game to have a story and just draw me in. Don't get me wrong I do love MP games as well, its just the main thing I look for is a story in a game. Also the little kids screaming and all that doesn't really matter to me. I scream right back. lol :)

They are two very different experiences, but I suppose if I could only have one I'd take the single player over the multiplayer with just about every game I've played.

I almost always prefer single player, though I can never turn down a good multiplayer round.

Single Player. Unless we are talking about starcraft, then Multiplayer.

That's a really good question, I can't decide because it depends what kind of mood I'm in. But pretty much that.

I prefer singleplayer. Multiplayer gets repetitive after a while no matter how fun it is. Run for the sniper/rockets, capture a control point, etc. You do the same thing every game. The only mp game I never got tired of is Battlefield 2.

Single player is a blast but it only lasts so long. MP is fun for longer.

Single player in the short term and then multi-player until I get reminded about how much most people suck online. By saying people suck I don't mean bad at the game, I mean trash talk, swear and try to be annoying on purpose just so they can have fun by ruining the game for everyone else. I've come to a point I completely accept it, but it doesn't mean I like it at all.

So overall.. Single player although it's only for a very short time per game.

A singleplayer game will remain with me through the years as multiplayer games to me get forgotten. I will have some great times with multiplayer games but I have played so many great multiplayer games that they just eventually get forgotten as better and newer ones come out. As an amazing story to me is never forgotten because a great story is a great story no matter how you cut it. I am currently playing really old games that are still amazing even after MANY years. If I went back to an older multiplayer game I doubt it would be as enjoyable because they normally don't tend to age well.

For me personally I'll play campaign once, but multiplayer over and over and over... and over again. (COD4 is an addiction) If the game doesn't have a 10hr plus type of campaign (Dead Space is the one exception, that games brilliant) it better have an excellent MP or its not worth the $60 price tag... (looking at RE5 and shaking my head)

Single player by far. For multiplayer, you almost always have to have one of the "most popular" games to play with people online or find matches easily. Multiplayer to me feels like a temporary thing that just goes away when the new sequel for a game comes out or something like that...
