I'd have to say Oblivion because even though most of the caves did have the same textures, and lighting, and traps, there was still a unique layout to each cave.
But what really got me to love exploring Oblivion was the environments. I loved how you'd be in a dark swampy area, then into open fields with few trees, and broken forts and campsites, and then into a lush forest of green mixed with different colour plants and flowers, and the ambient sounds of wind, and birds chirping.
The scenery in Fallout 3 cannot compare, and I know people will argue that it is post-apocalytpic. I get it, I know.. But in preference, I felt Oblivion had a great atmosphere, and the lack of colour and depth in "The Capital Wasteland" in Fallout 3 just could not compare to Oblivions vast, lush, and unique environments.
