whats so good about BIOSHOCK?!?!?

This is exactly my kind of game. I loved the original System Shocks and games like Deus Ex.

Running around frantic and shooting things as fast as I can while looking for power-ups is just not my thing. Good on ya if it's yours but I like games that have a more leisurely pace.

Bioshock will probably be the first 360 game I buy new and pay full price for.....or better yet maybe it's trade in time for my dust gathering PSP.

Basically its an RPG with great graphics (possibly the best water effects in a video game to date) and an interesting storyline that involves thinking instead of just run and gun gameplay. This might not appeal to everyone so maybe its just not your type of game. If you like run and gun type stuff then I would stay away from this just because there is some puzzle type implications and strategy involved.Aftermath6

Your both right. Its a FPS with RPG properties, or you could say its a RPG thats in first person.

imersive single player game -- no need for online play, great art direction, original setting, and amazing graphics.

Yes and no,

It's not an FPS like Halo or the dozens of other "run around, shoot like crazy and look for power-ups for your armor" games. You'll have to explore, figure out and reason.

It without question has RPG elements which make it much better than most games IMO.

There isn't going to be a demo on the marketplace.

I may have to agree with you on that one. I too have seen quite a few screens, videos, and the like and haven't found anything convincing enough to get me to drop $50+ at launch.rwrden

whats not to like about it! the graphics are spectacular, gameplay is going to be incredible. its going to be one of the best FPS/RPG games ever.
