Whats so great about fable 2 ???

I ve never played the first game .. Does fable 2 seem like its gonna be such a good rpg because it seems like everyone wants it .. what does it have really that makes it so desired ?

of course its so easy being evil, cuz the hardest thing in life is doing the right thing. fable 2 will be brilliant, because PM has always wanted to make something different

You would've never said that if he didn't promise so much. That game was great and Peter just built too much hype up around it and promised too many things.

Never played the first Fable, but it just looks like the type of game you can play forever- and the co-op online makes it like no other RPG- this might knock out Mass Effect for my favourite RPG of all time.-Oh wait, Final Fantasy is coming out for the 360..that's going to knock everything out of the ball park.

You can find it dirt cheap (Fable that is). I found it for $10 used at Gamestop a couple of weeks ago. I haven't played it yet - I will though about a month before Fable 2.

the fable dev is funny, he makes everything sound awesome like it's never been done before, hes the only dev than can make hacking and slashing on one button and shooting on the other button sound awesome, when really what the hell is the the big deal? the battle systems just seem very standardbigLLL

It is, but there is sepsoe to be a rythm based system that makes you pull of cool moves and gain extra experience but the whole point is that everyoen can play it. But combat isnt the mian attraction in Fable 2.

Fable 2 is the ultimate RPG since you play a role on a level like no other game has done before... except Fable 1. Instead of doing one epic quest you live the life or a hero (male or female). From a young child to an old wreck. You decide how you want to live this life, raise a family, be drunk, be evil, get a regular job or just do the main quest. The morphing in Fable is what makes it unique and its why everyone is excited. What Fable (2) does is something that no other game does.

Oh and the whole point of a RPG is to be someone else and do stuff you wouldnt do in reallife, Fable 2 has the option of giving your character a STD if you go to the wrong kind of ladies. This should give you a good indication of what freeroaming is all about.

P.S. get Fable 1 (preferably the TLC edition), its cheap and fun.

To be good you have to make a lot of sacrifices. I got a kick out of a person with a Master Chief pic telling someone nothing is special about a game thats actually good.

I've never played the first one. but this one is a sure thing. being good or evil, marriage, great co-op features and a dog!

I know this game has to be great. it's got everything, basically.

it was my second favorite game for xbox (1.Kotor) and go try it i made my freind buy it and it was 5 $s so pick it up

Well not really anything. In pen & pencil rpgs you can do whatever you want, only limit is imagination. That's a feature I want to see in computer or console rpgs, but it's impossible.

As for Fable 2: you've a dog. What else do you need?

dogs, quests, jobs, story, having a wife, having kids (or not ;)), choice between good and evil, ability to kill whoever you want, buy any building you want eventually making you mayor, king, or even emperor, etc. whats not great about fable 2?

The first Fable wasn't good, he gave us almost nothing that he promised. I'm hoping that he can with Fable 2. Also I like games with co-op.

If you all want dogs just play Fallout or Fallout 2.

from a personal standpoint I think Fable 2 is going to be a good game, but overall I'm not a huge believer in it.
